  1. Please find for me a single case where a claim of electoral fraud, brought by Trump and his lawyers, was accepted by any USA court as valid. Just one. I won't hold my breath waiting. How does your own breath taste, with so much backed up?
  2. I will be sad America has sunk so low.
  3. Polls this far out mean nothing. John McCain was 10 points in front of Barack Obama at a similar time.
  4. Your version of facts and reality seems to have been repeatedly thrown out by the courts, many of whom had Republican judges.
  5. He's doing a lot of dancing of a different kind in the courts.
  6. BS. In the Iowa primary, there were 350,000 registered Republican voters. Only about 7000 of them turned out to vote for Trump and Haley, who got 40% of the vote. 30% of Republican voters have said they will not vote for Trump in November. Trump has said he wants the economy to tank, now he is predicting a bloodbath in November if he doesn't win. What kind of patriot says that?
  7. I guess the voters will decide who is the biggest liar in November. What's most galling to the Trumpers is the way Biden shot down their claims of old and doddery in flames, while Trump was making himself look like the village idiot in his poorly attended rallies.
  8. Cheese and wine produced in Thailand is poor quality because the Thai Government won't allow foreign winemakers and cheesemakers to impart their knowledge to locals, it's the old story of face. One of the best cheesemakers in Australia is/was Fred Leppin, of Top Paddock Cheeses. He was German, still had the very thick accent. I would be very surprised if there was any laboratory in Thailand dedicated to cheese or wine analysis. One can't improve food products without data.
  9. Mainland Vintage Cheddar from Makro is the best value for money. I occasionally have some Danablu to give my taste buds a real jolt. Personal opinion, King Island Blue Brie is the emperor of cheeses. I have never seen it in Thailand, it would be insanely expensive. Photo is a cheese shop in St. Andrews, Scotland. It has duckboards with running water underneath, to keep the cheeses moist. Stepping into the shop, I got high on the aromas alone.
  10. With 50K USD and the OP's skill set, buy new. Forget about the prestige BS. They only cost more to service and maintain, a clear case of BOHICA. One can't go wrong with Toyota, Mitsubishi, Mazda, Isuzu etc. EV is an option for someone who is doing mostly city travel. In that case, it's MG or BYD.
  11. I have always booked through Agoda, and never had a problem. I have never been on Facebook, and never will. A company which sells personal data, in tranches of 40,000 subscribers to the highest bidder, is not going to be knocking back money from fraudsters putting false websites into the system.
  12. Move over Sir Les Patterson, we have a new contender.
  13. The older we get, the uglier we get. There are a few exceptions, such as Richard Gere or George Clooney. Having said that, there are compensatory factors. Onassis was as ugly as a hatful of bums, that didn't seem to bother Jackie Kennedy.
  14. OP, stop thinking small. Have a par 4 instead of a par 3, the lake can be part of the golf hole.
  15. I would have thought a 19yo American can get all the sex he wants at any bar or massage shop in Thailand, and might not even have to pay for it.
  16. Thaksin's improvement in health reminds me of Alan Bond's memory loss during cross-examination. Quite remarkable how he recovered fully after getting out of jail.
  17. I have always thought ASEAN has too many Napoleons. They want others to tilt at windmills.
  18. False. The cure for methanol poisoning is actually drinking ethanol, to flush methanol and its metabolite formaldehyde from the body. The term "blind drunk" comes from people who are so intoxicated they can't see straight, or see double.
  19. Whatever you do, lay off the figs and papaya,
  20. Further development: UBER EATS in Australia is refusing to provide details to my bank about where the food orders have been delivered to. In other words, they are aiding and abetting the fraud. Update 14/3. The bond amount has been returned to my account. The business wanted me to quote a card number to refund the money to. I quoted my BSB and account number instead. They've already compromised one card, I don't know why they think I would risk their security a second time.
  21. Google and Gemini are your friends.
  22. Were you disabled for a while afterwards?
  23. Any love hotel here is about 300 baht. What possesses people to bang in public is beyond me, unless they are exhibitionists.
  24. Phu Chi Fa is well off the beaten track, but well worth a day visit. The walk to the top is fairly strenuous, good hiking boots or sneakers with plenty of ankle support are advisable. Although I did see three monks get up to the top in sandals. There's a side track about halfway up, which leads to a cairn which denotes the border between Thailand and Laos. Border guards are not necessary, it's a cliff. Thousands of Thais gather there to camp in January, to watch the sunrise. It is spectacular.
  25. Having a noggin with very little hair, I don't have to waste time and money on hair dye. I've always found blonde women with black roots, or guys with rugs or transplants, somewhat pathetic.
