  1. If you're talking about the US I can't comment, other than to say your blanketing of every criticism of Soros as antisemitism shows extreme bigotry on your part! Otherwise (outside the US) it's simply untrue.
  2. It's not an attack, you dimwit. Muslims are still intent on global expansion, as Christianity was up until the last century. The percentages were not intended to be statistically accurate, merely to reflect the tiny number of actual refugees versus economic migrants (as is clear in the applications for entry into EU countries). You are a bigot if you believe that I am one, jumping very quickly on the word 'Muslim' like that. I'm sad for you.
  3. He is certainly the definition of a globalist. His politics do not come into it, as neither does his religion/nationality.
  4. I don't see the word 'globalist' being used as a slur against Jews here? That's what we're discussing. For the record I fully respect the anger of Poland at the illegal torrent of economic migration encouraged by unfettered/no borders globalism, and now being encouraged by Russia as a form of warfare.
  5. Yes, the OED has it, just not the slur defn. This is a thing totally restricted to certain areas of US politics. Let's hope it stays that way.
  6. But no smoke without fire though. Arch globalist financiers championing free global movement of labour are bleeding Eastern European countries dry of both their skilled and unskilled labour force with their open borders, while at the same time with their philanthropic hat on (yeah, sure) facilitating the Muslim diaspora (5 pct refugees, 95 pct economic migrants). E. Europe is becoming a husk, populated by women, children and the aged, the EU happy to pay them billions each year as subsistence, to create an almost sterile geopolitical buffer zone on the borders of Europe. Hm, I must be alt-right, yes?
  7. Yes, and even the full Oxford English Dictionary (best in the world, IMO) doesn't contain any mention of this definition of the word. So, only understood by triggered US hyper-politicals at both ends of the spectrum, I imagine.
  8. Looking for slurs where maybe none is intended. Soros is the definition of a globalist. Surely it's oversensitive to avoid the precisely correct word in case some readers take offence. Anyway, I asked a question and you gave a puerile reply. That was my only point.
  9. Thankfully someone else has posted a more intelligent reply with which I can engage. You're in weekend 'disengage brain' mode, right?
  10. Tell me where you've seen the word 'globalist' used against jews. I think maybe you've got that wrong?
  11. It was the point of my comment, actually. I made the point, in reply to the no doubt true statement that the poster was turned away from his IO because he had no physical TM6, which was that you don't need to produce your TM6 to do a 90 day report, if you can do it online. That WAS my point. I didn't say a TM6 hard copy isn't needed for other transanctions, I didn't say that everyone can do the 90 day report online (eg. if they have left it too late). Simple, no?
  12. Yes just about everything in my and my wife's applications drop down now, unless I've decided to clear the browser history recently and forgotten to except this!
  13. Wonderful. I'd like to buy myself a bottle or two as a treat sometimes, if I could find it (not in Hua Hin, for sure). I'd drink it every day but my pension would complain!
  14. Yes my point was that they don't demand you upload a copy, which they could if they wanted, creating more work and complexity. It would be very Thai, no? ????
  15. Hi I just posted then saw your post just above mine. I want to ask if you know whether bottled Guiness is bottle conditioned or not nowadays?
  16. I didn't see bottled Guiness for many years. It had an entirely different taste to draught, being bottle conditioned. It was nicer and (I'm told) truer to the original which was not served from metal kegs under nitrogen pressure.
  17. Since spinners went out of fashion....
  18. Discrimination against sofas, be ashamed of yourself. Anyway, 18 chairs in a 3 bed house (incl. terrace furniture). Five sofas too, not that you're interested.... ????
  19. Utterly ridiculous. To believe that Thailand can be like, say, the Maldives and keep out (most of) the riff-raff is fantasy. Thai people need a vibrant tourist economy ACROSS THE BOARD. As a retiree it's been a lovely quiet two years, but what this government has done to Thailand's poor makes me furious, I want to see tourism booming again, and that means a government which understands both economics and civic responsibility. Get this lot out.
  20. How is this considered money earned inside Thailand? I thought that money earned online (eg. online language teaching of students outside of Thailand) is not taxable.
  21. In my opinion (and that's all it is), the onus is on you to prove to immigration where you've been over the past 21 days. If you can't then it's 7 days quarantine. Even if you could show ship's log and crew list I doubt they'd feel bothered to sit and work it all out?
  22. One poster here bought a £2000 item from overseas. 7 pct would have been an additional £140. Not insignificant.
  23. I get flamed by some old timers here when I say that. Don't you know, it only doesn't work when they don't WANT it to work. Perfectly deliberate.... ????
  24. My point was is that enough to nullify a rental contract in its entirety? I doubt it, I imagine that it only attracts the penalty you describe (financial or jail).
