  1. I'm a complainer and always liked lazadas email support but this has disappeared, just a BOT now, stupid idea, it sends you in a loop. So I'm more careful what I buy making sure I pay by credit card, Kasikorn bank has been very helpful getting refunds for me in the past. eg. I bought 2 identical refrigerators for 2 identical condos I bought a few years back, the vendor sent me the one I ordered and another which was larger in size (useless), the vendor would not change for the same I originally ordered. I went to the Kasikorn customer service at my local branch filled out the the forms and a few weeks later my money was refunded. BTW, I still have the fridge I didn't want so now have a nice beer fridge outside, my friends that come see me think it's great, helping themselves to my beers if I'm not home. Does anyone have an email address for lazada complaints?
  2. I can't see them being happier. Before covid I'd have to fly once a month for work. Leaving Pattaya was the saddest day for me, leaving my family, on the way to the airport seeing the sexy chicks riding their scooters, walking the streets, bloody beautiful. It was much different when I came back to Pattaya, so happy ????
  3. I feel for the bank manager, known her for nearly 20 years, back then she was an assistant manager Pattaya Tai branch, so very helpful. She is such a hard worker and has helped me with many issues, trying so hard to get items I wasn't entitled to because of my visa status (Working offshore I traveled to Thailand on a tourist visa, working on a 28/28 rotation so tourist visa all I needed), such as credit cards, including spouse, foreign currency account, bank safety box etc., every Christmas/New year she would always give me a little gift. I hope she doesn't suffer because of this 1 bad egg (criminal) Sadly this theft, fraudulent behavior issue could happen to any branch, any bank.
  4. Yeh, same here mate. I wanted to buy the Soapy Massage joint for 470M baht but didn't have the money Did not go with that plan
  5. Mate, you need to see a doctor, get some medication. 'I'm sure all of us, yes all of us' This is not normal talk Get well soon buddy
  6. So many guys do. It's because when they arrive at Survarnabhumi they leave their common sense at the airport. Boys in a lollishop, never grown up, they're still children. I've known so many guys over the years losing their entire life savings, having to go back home and start again. I know quite a few bar owners, it can be a bitchy industry, groups that hate other groups. The bar managers doing the wrong thing by bar owners. Fighting each other. What a bloody awful way to make a buck
  7. I've had nightmares of being a bar owner in pattaya. Pattaya is not for working It's for drinking, fun, relaxing, being with a beautiful, soft, sweet smelling young lady. I've worked in Thailand, Songkla, offshore. Not an issue, you're away from the party times. Night before crew change can get out of control at times.
  8. I've tipped after a hair cut I've probably been americanized. Working for American companies for decades it's probably got me tipping unnecessarily.
  9. I reckon the discussion should be around FORCED tipping. This is rediculous, venues like Hard Rock etc, American businesses adding a tip on your bill. I was working in Malaysia many years ago and the Hard Rock in KL was my local, Friday, Saturday nights service was poor but still had to pay tips. Bloody rude
  10. Yes, you are correct, we don't generally tip in Australia, hairdressers etc yes a tip. Our wages are high enough for people to live survive, live comfortably. In some countries wages are very low, the staff can only survive on tips.
  11. Try another branch Pointless getting yourself worked up, I find Thai banks to be helpful. I dred doing any banking back in Oz, horrible service.
  12. Even the Thai karaoke bars on soi Kohpai were open last night. I'm going to soi 6 this afternoon, hopefully there will be a few Sha+ restaurants open, I will have an appetite.
  13. yogi, yogi, yogi, you got to get out more and enjoy life The girls are naked and slide up and down on you, lots of bubbles and soap. Try it, amazing experience if get the right masseuse
  14. Thank God for the SHA+. I've been for a ride last couple of days. All the old SH1TTY little bars that are now restaurants. Soi Buakhao, soi 7, Beach Road. All serving alcohol. I hope we can get a few GoGo bars in walking street with Sha+, ????????????????
  15. $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ In a few years time the headlines may read 'Myanmar woman in her 20's inherits a large amount of money due to husband passing' Good on her
  16. Yes and white inside, the white fruit threw me. LomYai has a transparent, clear fruit inside.
  17. 5S, state of the art. I've got a friend here in Pattaya that has no connection to the www. I've asked him to buy a cheap smartphone and I'd set him up with a Google account etc. he refuses. How does he survive!!!!!!
