'Gatick' Admits to False Statement on Tangmo Case
SAFETY FIRST replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Why do they have to lie. It was harmless, excessive drinking. Refusing to tell the truth is childish. Is it saving face or just lacking education, or both? I've had to put up with this nonsense in the workplace over the years, it's time wasting and dangerous. -

I reckon he's learnt his trade from those rotten monkeys, they'll nick anything that's not bolted down. -
It's crazy Bloody beautiful young things. I love the fashion what ever they wear.

You can't tell. They mostly walk around in winter pajamas (thats we call them in Oz) long sleeve and trouser length pants.

Good question ????

I've been living in a house for many years here in Pattaya. Pre covid I bought a condo in a resort style (gym, sauna, spa, huge swimming pools etc) project to relax through the day while the kids are at school, I spend most days in the pool, sauna, gym and restaurants then afternoon go home to the kids. I have a ground floor unit opposite the swimming pool, occasionally I see Thais walking around in their pajamas, all morning till the late afternoon, mainly females, some wearing very fancy pj's (silk), too bad they're not walking around in their lingerie. They actually walk out into the street and shop in the 7-Eleven in their pj's. What are your thoughts, I know in Australia some mothers are taking their kids to school in their pajamas, not sure about that too.

Wow, good point you raised. This is a big problem in Thailand, alot of foreigners (most) do not know the laws regarding marriage in Thailand. To all you newly weds, once you marry a Thai you become responsible for any debt. Anyone out there can add to this issue?

I got stopped by the police on my scooter
SAFETY FIRST replied to tethys's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
I got 2 tickets not too long ago, jomtien. Riding wrong way and non original exhaust. I was shocked at the outrageous price I had to pay. Total 200 baht (total) for both. Go soi 9 police station, take a ticket (number) sit down wait for your number to be called, go up to the window, wait for the officer to finish his meal and hand over your ticket and then pay the money ????, wait for your receipt. See you later. ???? -
Yes, good point. My Mrs decided to change her first name saying her new name was lucky. Not only the issues above, also my employer provided family health care benefits, pension benefits, all had to change to her new lucky name.

I reckon alot of guys get married to get around visa issues. If you're under 50 years of age or you don't have enough money, 800k baht it's a cheaper option.

Are you drinking too much alcohol. The liver does strange things when abused. A skin rash can appear randomly.

I'm not bothered. I've found very few people in Thailand want to operate in a 'safety first' environment. -

With all the fighter jets and helicopters falling out of the sky we could do with a few of these shelters. -

11 pages for 90 days report
SAFETY FIRST replied to poppysdad's topic in Thai Visas, Residency, and Work Permits
About 12 years ago I sold my Buell to a foreigner from Bangkok. The DLT ask for a copy of every used page of my passport. I had to copy 60 pages of my 64 page passport and send to him so he could transfer the bike into his name.
