How much can you negotiate off the price of a new house?
SAFETY FIRST replied to AlexCanada's topic in Pattaya
OK, buying housing is all about the 3 L's Location Location Location If it's in a good area that is popular you'll find there won't be any negotiation, or very little. If the housing estate is located Nakon Nowhere or similar you'll find more flexibility with the price. -
6.6 tonnes of undeclared frozen pork impounded in Nakhon Pathom
SAFETY FIRST replied to webfact's topic in Bangkok News
Geeze, that's where I put, been looking everywhere. -
A cop, you'd think being a police officer he'd have common sense. All these offenses, geeze, how do you stop the criminals when you have cops like this one Slightly off topic, it always amazed me how they buddy up with the taxi motor bike riders, you see them chatting in a group all the time. The taxi riders at times riding around breaking the laws (riding wrong side of road, no helmet) and the cops just meet and greet at the road checks. Maybe this cop was an ex-taxi motorbike rider!!!!!

Where have you been living for the last couple of years, in a cave. You're in Thailand now, we have laws in place to protect the population. You need to comply. -
Thailand, the most beautiful girls in the world.

This immature, disrespectful, uncaring act happens world wide. Most guys here on AN and their girls are in love with each other, trust is a component of love. I've worked on some sort of rotation, mostly 28/28 my working life, so myself and colleagues and their wives from the west would be without each other for 4 weeks or more. Sadly, I've heard the horror stories over the many years, seen grown men crying, it can destroy a good person, it's just a crime, some of these women doing the wild thing while their spouse is working in the most dangerous, hostile environment. Anyway, disregard partying with Thai men, it happenes occasionally but if you got the right chick don't be concerned. I've been in love, it's a strong power. -
Wifi only calls - possible? Android
SAFETY FIRST replied to toast1's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
Are you Australian? This feature is standard on all Australian phones. I don't know if Thailand offers this option. Wi-Fi calling relies on a technology called SIP/IMS that sends your phone call through the internet instead of routing to a cell tower. Since you're not using a cell tower to place the call, you don't need a cellular service in order to make a call. Aussie's offers this as a safety feature. You'll find its not available in Thailand -

I keep forgetting about AN age demographic. There's a big difference in members ages, some of the guys here aged same as my dad/grandad, I should be more understanding when posting. My photos of females in their early 20's may be inappropriate for this forum. Cheers guys -

Here's a few of my favorites Thai Beauties Sadly, some with bigger breasts than that of my gf, no worries, she makes up for that in other ways Oops, I had to remove one of the beauties, she had a message for me only -
Are you the only resident that is complaining? You have rights as a co-owner. If the other co-owners are not happy you can remove and replace the Juristic company. We did in a condo I used to own, just get some quotes from other companies. Also, if no one else is bothered, You may be overreacting, you'll find all the Juristic companies will do at times things that may not please you.

Abandoned, Derelict, Decaying Locations Around Thailand

Looks like one of the Saudi Airlines jumbo I used to take from Damman to Jeddah, similar condition -
Yes, the Batman building, just around the corner from me. It's an awesome structure. Would have been a great venue, that and Xzyte back in the day. Sadly, it was gutted before I arrived 20 years ago.

New 20-baht polymer banknotes to enter circulation on March 24
SAFETY FIRST replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
Yes, the bank tellers have this habit. It'll be interesting once these new notes come into circulation, how the bank tellers will track!!! -
As I said earlier, I've been living in the same house for over 20 years, well before the bars came, I don't live on top of the bars on Bongkot, I'm living around 1km away. It's the drunk drivers and the noise from the big bikes, their loud exhaust noise travels due to the narrow sois. I like the area, it's close to town and beaches, my children's friends live locally, it's the best place to live. And again, I like the policing, I hope the cops keep up the good work.

Why are you so hostile, chill dude. You should wake up, vibrant and refreshed not angry and abusive. Who are you sleeping with, maybe this is why your in an angry mood, day in and day out There are many poor people in Thailand who can't afford a proper education, we are very lucky in Australia with the education system. In Thailand you'll find many people with high IQs that never had the opportunity to a quality education. We are all incognito on AN. If we post photos / pictures we will be identified. If I post a photo of my gf, those who know her now know who I am. I'm scared of predators, stalking my beautiful gf. Dude, talk to me later when you cool down, have a cup of coffee, go for a walk, relax. Hey Isaanlife, you feeling better today? I just wanted to reply to a couple of issues you made comment, another point to note. My employer sent me to Thailand for work. I worked Songkla (so lucky, great experience), offshore for a few years. I met a lot of Thai's, very smart people (high IQ) but sadly, most of the guys I Supervised had very little education, because of poverty, coming from a poor family's. I was working on the rig as their Supervisor and our company had put in place incentives for the intelligent, hard working employees, my company employed mostly western foreigners to work as supervision/management duties and were always looking for locals to employ as it's so much more cost effective. Over the years I recommended 8 of my juniors for internal traineeships, this created opportunity for the locals to go up the ladder. It's a win, win for everyone, great in the day when oil was over $100 a barrel but when things got quiet the locals were given jobs over foreigners due to the reduced wages paid. Over the many years I've worked in mostly Asia and Africa, I found lots of the local guys working offshore were hard working and very clever without very little education. It's quite common in poorer countries people having a high IQ with little or no education. BTW, I've worked, holidayed and traveled to more than 40 countries and Thai girls are the most beautiful. ???????????????????? -
