I reckon most people shouldn't ride in Thailand, like yourself if they have a mental illness, elderly and frail, incompetent or inexperienced keep off the motorbike but some of us here we have the skill set, the awareness, the experience to ride here and enjoy riding the roads of Thailand. I'd say, you'd be a danger to other road users driving your car in Thailand.

I've spent time in many Asian countries. I've worked in India, South Korea, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Brunei, Indonesia, Singapore and Thailand. Travelled to Cambodia and Laos. Worked with many of the locals, they all seemed nice but Thailand I reckon are the happiest, friendlier and most welcoming people. Like people in most Asian countries, they assume that we are all rich so expect the occasional Thai to want something from you.

Yes, kasikorn credit card. Agree, probably losses involved using non Thai cards.

I always pay credit card, if for some reason the item is faulty or wrong item described, you are protected using credit card. I've had to report and fill out documents at Kasikorn bank on a few occasions, money is always returned in around 6 weeks.
