Buying a used car that is under finance
SAFETY FIRST replied to pj123's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
You can pay off his finance with your money but why would you do that? You need to go to the DLT, they will transfer ownership, once the car blue book is in your name then hand over the money, take keys and drive away. Don't forget to say goodbye. ๐ -
You're a stick in the mud, a party popper. I like Bob's daily/bi-daily story telling, funny stuff. Don't be too critical, too serious on Bob's postings, these forums, you'll find 80% of the comments/postings are made up. Bob's nonsense, his creative writing, fiction, it's fun reading. I do wish he wouldn't be so negative though.

PCX no problem. Just take the Sukhumvit all the way. If it's a Click, they are not as comfortable, I'm 185cm, too tall for click.

Wow, this is handy to know, thanks. I wish City Hall would be so nice. Around 10 years city hall started charging company owned home owners, which they back dated, cheeky buggers. I went to city hall and argued with them, saying its a domestic house occupied by 4 family members, it's not a business, they refused to listen.

I remember getting picked up by my boss who had a western suburbs Sydney newsagency at 4am weekdays, driving to train station, then walking across the train tracks with my items to sell, newspapers, magazines, chocolate bars and cigarettes and sitting in a small kisosk on a train station. At around 8.30am getting picked up and taken to school.

The pricing is different for company owned properties and private properties. My water charges are much higher for company owned house to that of house in my children's name (Thai). Condominiums pay direct to Juristic management. My older condo is 20 baht per unit, my newer condos water charges are 40 baht per unit (1000 litres). One condo I get charged minimum 100 baht per month, the others no minimum.

Lost Bike Keys, How can I get the bike started again?
SAFETY FIRST replied to truthfix's topic in Motorcycles in Thailand
If you are close to the motorbike shop, get a motorbike taxi to push you and the bike to the shop. Taxi will push you and the bike, placing his foot on your engine, air box etc. I had an electrical fault, bike wouldn't start, had to get it to the Mityon for new wiring loom. -

Explicit surfboard sex video off Karon beach sparks heated debate
SAFETY FIRST replied to snoop1130's topic in Phuket News
BEHAVE, strange comment, just be a good person, you'll have no problems. It's only the troublemakers that need to be concerned. If I was Thai, I'd have a grudge to, all the stupid foreigners coming here. I say to all the Thai's, bring out your camera's, take your photos and shame these foolish foreigners.
