Elderly Woman Abducted from Hospital: Sister Appeals for Help
SAFETY FIRST replied to Georgealbert's topic in Bangkok News
Bangkok has her now. or A lonely foreigner from soi Buakhou. -
It seems you have been asleep. The driver ran from the scene, leaving the rear door shut leaving those poor little children to perish. The driver's bus was illegally modified, his death trap blew, as a human being, he had an obligation to help the people on board his bus.

Don't feel too bad, it's a small amount of money, I think we've all experienced similar outcomes living in the LOS. Funny thing is, in Australian the trades (sparkies, plumbers etc) rip you off to (big time) π

Lots of great memories. Most memorable, paying for the C section at BPH and taking my newborn children home. My children have given me my best memories in Thailand. Life is great, I'll have many more ahead of me.

I Googled stull, a wooden wedge thing. I'll assume that you meant STUFF. We've got the NRL grand final on Sunday and on the following Sunday Bathurst 1000. I'll have all my devices on aeroplane mode both Sundays, no interruptions.

How do you pay?
SAFETY FIRST replied to garygooner's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
I pay for my 2lt milk at Tops with my credit card. I pay most things with cc, have been for years. -
I reckon your best option is Lazada, you can buy fast sim cards now valid for 6 months. You will charged yearly fees for cable/fibre internet.

Frozen in time: British expats losing out on pensions in Thailand
SAFETY FIRST replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Brits have it easy. I'm not eligible but check out the hurdles the Aussies have to deal with to get the Aussie aged pension living in Thailand. I still don't fully understand how a pensioner can live abroad on the government aged pension. My parents always said, study hard, get yourself a good job and save for the future, DO NOT RELY ON THE PENSION. -

Agree, the guy definitely wears a man bun. He also has knack of getting comments removed that he doesn't agree with. -
Thai Airways flight runs off runway in Bangkok storm scare

Me to. I hope the Captain is having some time off, perhaps getting more training. -
It's not about the money. For me it's living amoungst the most beautiful, polite, friendly, easy going people in the world. It's the food, the weather, the beaches, the country, it's amazing. Sadly, but good for me, some of the young Thai women get pregnant to a deadbeat father who leaves before or shortly after the birth of their child, now the young mother needs to leave her child with her parents, go to the city to work, now she must pay monthly rent for accommodation, electricity, water, pay costs for commuting to and from work, buy clothing for her and her newborn, food for her and her newborn, monthly payments to her mother (child's guardian), for caring for her child etc., because Thailand does not provide this young mother a single mothers pension, or Social security payments or even garnish of the fathers wages as done in the west. Sadly the costs for the above adds up, now this beautiful, petite, very young woman must look elsewhere for a better paying job, she now has a debt so most times must work in the sex industry to make ends meet.
