    He should take the cars blue book to local inspection station, they will send it to the DLT, they print your payment inside back page. It will be returned in a few days.

    This was the strangest behaviour for me to understand when I first arrived. I bought in a gated community, My first house was 2.9M baht, most houses were similar in pricing but some of my neighbours had BMW's and Mercedes Benz in their driveways, their cars were around 3M baht. Back then in Australia you'd buy a car for around 10% the value of your home.

    You are wasting the best part of the day. Crikey, I've had breakfast, a dump, run 3km, had a few coffees and lunch before 11am. Whether I'm on holidays or working I'm up around 4am. Unless I'm out with the mates (seldom) nights, I'm asleep by 9pm.

    You Nailed it. Police are the baddies, if they weren't the baddies and did their job effectively the road toll would improve. It's better to help the Thai locals than to see the baddies prosper.

    I wasn't married. Also, I didn't mention but I was only on a TOURIST VISA at the time, both the assistant and bank manager really when through hoops and over hurdles to help me. It's helps to have a switched on assistant manager (at the time, now manager) and like I said, rules and regulations change when large amounts are deposited monthly and they see your salary coming in every month.
