How many is "alot" ?
One drunk woman in a bar talking about her ex ?
Ulysses has lived in Thailand and had business here many, many years and he would not say that if he had not heard it although it is, obviously, shocking.

And who investigated him? if you think Trump you are deluded as it was an internal FBI disciplinary investigation so your comment is waaaaaaay off target and part of the conspiracy paranoia to suit a political agenda.

Wish them well but their logo does look a little like 'Recycled'? anyway any party that affirms it is anti-Junta will do very well and the Dinosaur party, whoops I meant the Democratic party, will suffer huge losses.

Well he would say that wouldn't he? he has never been popular and his inherent weakness is exposed at every turn including his SILENCE regarding the Junta.
Those who FEAR transparency and debate, through whatever medium, have something to hide and in Abhisit's case it is inaction, inertia and inability.

Watana said he wanted to pass on his moral support to the party, which he hoped would help bring back people’s politics, while enabling more young bloods to enter politics and ending the junta’s rule.
Good for him - if he's sincere
but
why now?
why did he not pass on moral support to people
who were pro democracy and for this reason against the shins, corruption and cronyism ?
Indeed he did stand firm against the Junta and, you are right, for the PTP which WON every election or did you forget that bit? whether you like it or not they won by popular vote and would do so again today and so they have to be stopped by the elite right?

Why not just copy Pol Pot and everyone work in the rice fields! no thinking allowed! no meetings! ban gatherings and discourse, songs from the leader, Friday night propaganda and ban those who disagree!

Are you referring to Watana or Thanathorn? Watana is a "veteran politician", thus a dinosaur.
Thanathorn OTOH, although from the establishment elite, seems to represent a new voice and new ideas.
Watana, Thanathorn is an unknown quantity but there is hope! Watana is a man of ethics and principal and I don't count him anyway near the dinosaurs of the Amaart Old Guard who would gobble him up in a jiffy.

Good for him. A reasoned and intelligent man who I hope is part of Thailand's future but nothing will change until the Dinosaurs have died out.

For the life of me I have no idea why you would want to marry someone with all this baggage ? in fact why marry at all? surely you didn't come here looking for that? just live together, have fun and relax why go seeking problems and stress?

Great news - the more direct international flights the better! Now add some in Philippines (besides Manila).

Where are the Policemen pointing? Aloysius Ashing is a Thai? sounds like a Greek/English to me or it would be Aloy Ashingbonkalot.

Nice deflection from less important maters like panthers, elections and watches.

At the moment this does look like "show and a gift to Pyongyang", and the onus will be on the White House to demonstrate that it is not.
That said, perhaps there is some kind of merit in this. Regular posters will know that I am not a fan of Trump, but all other policies towards NK haven't worked, so I am willing to wait a bit to see if this new departure yields any results.
My real concern is with Trump himself. He claims to be a "great negotiator", but as of yet has not demonstrated any evidence to back that up. My fear is that he will make an already dangerous and terrible situation worse.
It is TRULY a curse;
May you live in interesting times...
You might be wrong there. All the other POTUS just acted like Ostriches and what if he pulls it off? worth a punt in my view.

There it is - the "good intentions vs the law."
To be exercised arbitrarily according to no standard other than some inexplicable and unwritten moral code(s).
Prayut insists that the rule of law must be obeyed for a stable and peaceful society. Yet, the Prayut regime constantly reminds Thais that at a moment's notice that the application of the rule of law depends on a capricious and sometimes maybe whimsical attitude of Thailand's elite establishment.
Frankly, it would better serve the protests that the protesters be prosecuted.
'Would not benefit the public' jailing of mushroom pickers, peaceful protesters and people who 'like' FB posts is all in the 'public's interest' of course! what Vipers! problem is they actually believe it.

Violated laws they made up. What a joke they are and when we look back in years to come we will wonder at this farce.

Former FBI No.2 McCabe fired; claims he is being targeted
in World News
Posted
He insulted him because he knew of the connections to HRC and his 'politicking'. Senior disciplinary procedures within the FBI recommended he be fired and you cannot possibly connect this to Trump. He lied, they say, so let him Appeal the dismissal if he has grounds.
