Don't see you (and others airing similar positions) going on about such things as the "UN" or "international law" with regard to transgressions carried out by Assad and his supporters (including Russia) during the Syrian Civil War. In fact, don't recall all that much affront and outrage from your guys over Russia vetoing numerous UNSC resolution proposals dealing with the Syrian Civil War.
Whether we like it or not the UNSC has RULES and, last time I looked, Russia abides by those RULES. I don't disagree that that these should not be reviewed but it is what it is.
The USA took very limited action avoiding, wisely, hitting Russian installations. I am no fan of Assad but there is NO alternative and we don't need another debacle similar as after Saddam do we?
Russia has won the war against ISIS in Syria whilst the USA slept. The carnage in Syria has to stop but the rebel ISIS fighters keep the killing going or do you think they are some sort of freedom fighters? The fighting stops when ISIS is wiped out.

Some people here keep pushing Perfect Homes, but I found them to be useless. I posted my experience here too, if you want to search for it.
Instead I used Chiang Mai Properties - twice - and found them to be helpful and quite professional. They are also the largest in Chiang Mai.
There are probably other good agencies too, so you might find someone if you prefer a smaller outfit.
I used Chiang Mai Properties a few times and do not share the same opinion as you. It used to be better before it split into two parts. Conversely I found Perfect Homes to be by far the best in Chiang Mai but it's all about personal experience of course.

You claim there was no use of chemicals. What's your proof? The burden of proof is on you to demonstrate there was no use of gas. The only ones denying that there was gas was Syria and Russia. Even Iran is staying quiet.
Here's what I know;
Syria has a history of using gas on civilians. In fact the arabs and Russia have a proven history of using poison gas. Iraq used it on Iran. Iraq also used it on Kurds. Egypt used it in Yemen. (The UN even condemned Egypt for the use.) Russia used poison gas during its occupation of Afghanistan.
Syria had a large poison gas stockpile. It had promised to destroy it. The Russians said they had destroyed "known" ordinance. However, if the Syrians had it, despite their not supposed to have it, then it is not unreasonable to expect that there were some inventory not destroyed.
The World Health Organization said last Wednesday that approx. 500 people had been treated for "signs and symptoms consistent with exposure to toxic chemicals" The French and Swiss Red Cross have blood samples that show people were exposed to poison gas. The USA now has blood samples from victims.
As good as the acting abilities of Arabs are for their Pallywood productions, the images of children and adults with blueish skin, their foaming at the mouth, bloodshot eyes and respiratory distress would have been difficult to fake.
You are the type of person who claims that there was no genocide in Rwanda and Burundi, who would have claimed that the killing fields of Cambodia were fake,
that the Bosnian concentration camps where thousands of children were starved, women raped and men executed were only holiday camps, and of course, you probably doubt that there were death camps in WWII. The use of poison gas against civilians in Syria is no different in the moral wrong. When you lie as you do, you are complicit in crimes against humanity and genocide. You enable mass murder and you are as guilty as the Syrians who are murdering civilian non combatants.
The other way round. The burden of proof is on YOU to prove Assad did this. Innocent until proven guilty is the cornerstone of international law.

But what needs to change is the way people decide who to vote for.
In the past millions voted for a highly corrupt man who offered the poor a bag of rice, 500Baht cash etc. And many parties are guilty of the same activities.
While millions of Thai people continue to do this there is little hope of real change.
The people need to change just as much a change in the type of people who are the politicians.
The first point is education so that Thai people really understand how democracy works and how to protect democracy.
Please refrain from raising the old 500 baht lie? at least argue with fact and truth please? if you had said 'popularist policies' I could agree that those do hold great sway with Thais and that education is crucial but that is not about one man. Can't you let that old nonsense go?

The only ones who "yearn" for the Shin kleptocracies under Thaksin or his various puppets are the Clan, its cronies and lackeys and all those who were lining their pockets at the expense of the people.
Thais I know despise Thaksin for the crook he is. They want an elected government, hate the corruption and entitlement of the elite but don't want this crook back thieving again.
You misunderstood. Thaksin was a crook (as they all are) and they don't yearn for HIM they yearn for the good times that he mostly brought. I don't think anyone wants him back, as a person, they want the times surrounding him. Many good things were achieved but he got greedy so let's forget about him personally.
What I am trying to say is that Thais I know (of all classes) feel times were better then than now. That is not a yearn for him but for the times. All loathe the current government.

And Vice Versa and we will never know. Both sides Lie, Lie and Lie again. Ordinary citizens are, and will be, clueless. Personally I think it's a set-up of collusion, obfuscation and skulduggery.
Every time Syria begins to 'win' (as it certainly has) something 'happens' to warrant bombing. WHY would Assad do this? what's to be gained? and why is this in the USA's, France or UK's interest? ignore the 500,000 killed by conventional weapons but go all-out bombing over 75 alleged chemical deaths?

I used to trust the USA to be honest however they have shown to be liars (Irak anyone) so I would have liked it more if the independent organisation that was going to check it has verified the US findings.
I still trust the USA more then Russia.. but I certainly wont trust them blindly.
I don't trust either and I often think Putin comes across more credibly then Trump. This is another 'WMD' gig and part of me looks forward to Russia's response. It's utter madness for USA to bomb a country so far away... what is to be gained? why is it in USA's interest? why haven't they bombed other countries?
Why concerned with 2000 chemical deaths (allegedly) but are unconcerned with the 500,000 who died with conventional weapons in Syria? USA thinks the rebels are freedom fighting patriots? Sounds like set-up by hidden hands. Israel anyone?

Yes but they have been busy setting everything us to give everyone the ILLUSION that the new election was democratic. Nothing will change until the dinosaurs have died out.

This is one such article expressing unbridled optimism in its predictions of public support fot the parties supporting the return of Prayuth as PM. Election day, a long long way off, will be the litmus test. I suggest the result will be as in the past three elections.
Indeed! and the present mob have had years to set-up the whole circus including unelected senators, stopping debate, not allowing meeting or elections and the upcoming elections will be a farce as far as democracy is concerned.
