Both in that rioting which brings people together would obviously increase the chances for infection, but you have to go and suggest it was only the nasty left who were out there. It always surprises and saddens me how swift Thais are in turning a minor incident into one involving violence. The idea of discussing anything rationally just doesn't seem to happen.

I disagree. It has a bad reputation as dozens of qualified medical personnel have stated as a result of scientific evidence that it is useless in fighting covid, especially if you have a serious case. The fact that Trump can't let it go and admit he was wrong is pathetic.

My take on this is that on the one hand you have a highly educated man, giving advice designed to save thousands of lives. On the other you have an uneducated fool, who is trying to save his own skin, while not caring about anyone else. Shouldn't be a difficult decision to know which advice makes more sense.

More than 3 months to serve the warrant is not very efficient.

As for law breaking, when will they get round to arresting the Thai drivers who drive recklessly across the country every day?

Happy days. I have often been quite critical of immigration here, but this is an excellent move which will be welcomed by many. My annual retirement extension is due early next month and I was not looking forward to it.
