When an Empire it was ruled by an emperor.
It then became a kingdom ruled by a King.
Now it is a country run by Boris.
Prefer any of the above to the clowns running the show here though, who show here once again how totally out of touch with reality they are.

The fella and the folks behind him are insensitive and clueless. Quotes a speech from a white segregationist without knowing where it came from (Yeah right!), picks a racially sensitive day for a rally and another one for the date he is to formally be nominated for the next election. I am stunned that African Americans can not see that Mr. Trump cares not one whit about their lives, knows nothing about their struggles and history but actually hates them all, and yet they still want to vote for him. Amazing.

The government said it would also continue to look at the option of things such as air bridges - agreements between countries who both have low transmission rates to remove the need for quarantine measures.
But as the UK has a high transmission rate, they can't enter an agreement with anyone. But if I, coming from a country with zero local cases in about a fortnight, set foot into the bubbling cauldron of infection that is the UK right now, I have to quarantine? Seriously? Well I guess I won't be making my annual pilgrimage this year then. Shame. I was looking forward to a beer or a wine with my dinner.

Seeing the damage to the truck around 1 minute in shows how hard it got hit. Those in the back are extremely fortunate to still be with us.
Love the "slippery conditions" contributed to the accident, as opposed to the reality that a complete idiot was wholly responsible, or should I say irresponsible.

A bonking population and a bonkers government. That's absolutely great Britain.

Probably worried he won't be able to remember what happened when he is called to court to testify.

Would it be fair to call it poop soup? If so, not really startling news. Pattaya has been like that ever since I lived here.

Oh praise the Lord! They are on about Chumpon. For a moment I thought some belter was going to try and tell us that Pattaya was in tip top condition, which would obviously be impossible, but that hasn't slowed them down in the past.

The grafted monies will be confiscated and passed on higher up the ladder most likely.
Some low level peasants will suffer the scapegoat consequences, hands will be rubbed together in glee and the taxpayer has been robbed. Again!
Until next time when it will repeat itself.

And these are the people we have to speak to logically and rationally to be allowed to stay here! Truly laughable.

He has threatened and tried to intimidate just about everyone who has ever disagreed with him or complained about his lies, so this should come as no surprise.

They have lost loads of money for their shareholders and investors through stupidity and greed, so if it doesn't involve getting rid of the majority of its incompetent and overpaid senior management it won't be a rehab plan, just another disaster waiting to happen again a few years down the track.

Ahh come on DSD, he swagged over 2,000 pairs of skids. Cops were probably just trying to get it documented for the Guinness Book of Records.

It always surprises and saddens me how swift Thais are in turning a minor incident into one involving violence. The idea of discussing anything rationally just doesn't seem to happen.

I disagree. It has a bad reputation as dozens of qualified medical personnel have stated as a result of scientific evidence that it is useless in fighting covid, especially if you have a serious case. The fact that Trump can't let it go and admit he was wrong is pathetic.

Now let's address your "thug" allegation. Law-abiding citizens exercising their Constitutional rights are not thugs.
When some of them are armed to the <deleted> teeth, as has been widely shown, I believe the "thug" allegation has pretty good legitimacy.
Much depends on the tint in your glasses I guess.

My take on this is that on the one hand you have a highly educated man, giving advice designed to save thousands of lives. On the other you have an uneducated fool, who is trying to save his own skin, while not caring about anyone else. Shouldn't be a difficult decision to know which advice makes more sense.

Sutthipong told Naew Na this was all part of immigration chief Lt-Gen Sompong Chingduang's policy to rid Thailand of law breaking foreigners.
More than 3 months to serve the warrant is not very efficient.
As for law breaking, when will they get round to arresting the Thai drivers who drive recklessly across the country every day?

I find Anutins comment that " we can't sell beer as we have no vaccine yet", as further proof of his complete inadequacy to hold any public office, let alone be the health minister.
Is he seriously suggesting we can't buy alchohol for another year plus, that being the time it is likely to take? Tourism will just love that one, eh?
His incompetence, stupidity and blatant racist comments, make him quite possibly the worst person on the planet to be allowed to run anything. Pound against a pile of dog poo, we can buy beer again before there is a vaccine.
If Prayut insists on keeping him in office, at least muzzle the fool to stop him creating further embarrassment.
An absolute idiot? Absolutely agree.
As health minister though, when the final payback hits the fan, you are going to have a full on prize monkey sat squarely in the "absolutely guilty M'Lord" bracket.

Happy days. I have often been quite critical of immigration here, but this is an excellent move which will be welcomed by many. My annual retirement extension is due early next month and I was not looking forward to it.

Ahead of Trump rally, coronavirus cases surge in Oklahoma, other states

Your myopic view of things is evident again as nowhere in the story does it apportion any blame. It was simply a story focusing on how infection rates in the area are rising and questioning if going ahead is wise. You are never one to miss a chance to slur the left though, so predictable.
Another deflection, again with false assumptions. Both in that rioting which brings people together would obviously increase the chances for infection, but you have to go and suggest it was only the nasty left who were out there. Mr Trumps supporters were universally at home, shaking their heads in dismay at the wicked left looting. or taking it in turns to pray one at a time in the local church were they? Your posts are always so funny, in that they are very predictably biased, factually lacking and delusional.
