I think western countries are going to have a hard job getting even 60% compliance with a vaccine, Asian countries will be 90%.

I wish you were right. I suspect it will very soon be made a condition of employment for many, a condition to travel, a condition to __________ fill in the blank. This is how it is going to be pushed on us.

Your spot on with your numbers. I suspect, if they did a review of "cases" like they recently have done with "deaths" that number will also be less.

Recovery of what? If you're asymptomatic you are not an affected person. You are not a patient. You are a "case". A positive test for genetic material at some point in your life is only just that. No "recovery" is required.

You may not be one to participate... but I bet there are many who will. Think long term... "tourists" who have the time to put in two weeks at a nice resort, to then be released into Thailand. I suspect the "great expense" is not as great as you think. It is a relative idea for sure... to you it may be a great expense, others who have the time and money and various reasons to come back, will not. 

It's a start. Re-opening has to start somewhere, somehow. First off... the hotels, 4 and 5 star, have been severely discounted, if flights are reasonable also, this IMO makes it doable. I would reduce the " One Kilometer" rule to a 14 day quarantine on resort grounds, with the tourist released after the 14 day quarantine and two successful negative tests. 

I don't know about you guys... but I broke out laughing on this one. ????????

That's ONE POINT FIVE MILLION dead souls in the world out there who normally would be alive... Fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, co-workers, etc etc. Try to keep that in mind...

 

In case you missed it, the numbers are not correct. Italy counted wrong, the UK counted wrong and the U.S. CDC admitted to lying about CV19 death numbers. There is a myriad of recounts going on right now. The point is, if you go and take a look at the erroneous counts... the number are not correct. 

Meanwhile, they're having massive pool parties in Wuhan... The virus just disappeared there apparently. This guy must have that Uk Virus computer modeling game at home on his PC. Still showing millions of deaths. These people really have no clue.

Pepper spray could have subdued him. There are varying strengths... the stronger mixes work quite well and have a type that can be sprayed at a long distance. But... pepper sprays are illegal in Thailand... go figure. It is hard to imagine how else you could protect yourself, when you're in the village with no police around, with a crazy guy and an axe... Run away I suppose until he finds some one off guard or a child or elderly person who simply cannot get away. Pepper sprays are a great home defense and should not be illegal.
