Agreed top of my list - decant into plastic box to save the glass jar weight.
I have a feeling there's more to decantation than just moving stuff from one container to another... But it makes Marmite sound fancy:)

Even a cheaper car spending most of its time just being parked is also a massive waste of money.
You live in Bangkok. You rarely need a car - and when you do need one you can rent. Or let someone else drive you.
Think of the sweet delivery from any kind of vehicular responsibilities like cleaning, checking, fixing, servicing, parking, etc
I live in a city - well, on the outskirts - and I sold my car a few months ago after being a car owner for 30+ years. It has been great:)-

Would you employ someone with a visible birthmark? There are idiots and bigots born every day and no shortage of people pandering to them.

I don't know for how many years they (TAT) have been using the slogan "Thailand - Once in a Lifetime".
I've seen it on Thai Airways a lot while waiting to disembark. The slogan always struck me as weird. Why don't they want me to come back?

I don’t think I’m representative of the average tourist, but the experience of encountering a lot of aggressive soi dogs during my first trips made me choose other tourist destinations for many years.

Fitness24Seven is an excellent gym at Summer Hill - but you're being less than specific about what kind of workout you're looking for.

Car is king here.
Pedestrians are second class citizens.
It’s a mindset. It won’t change unless people are educated to change their mindset.
Pedestrians should start carrying these around and distribute them near the zebra crossings to even the playing field:)

When is the last time someone forced you to accept religion ?
I know this wasn't directed at me, but sometimes it's difficult for religious/christian people to understand how much their religion permeates EVERYTHING. Example: on the flag of my country of origin there's a huge christian cross. Wherever I go, I'm represented by a christian symbol as far as my nationality is concerned. The head of state in my country is by law required to believe in god according to a 16th century definition known as the Augsburg confession.

Why another? Maybe TAT and AOT are expecting a huge increase in new tourists from India and the Middle East/North Africa!!
I think Phuket Airport, during high season, is already handling way more passengers than it was designed for.

Around the world, about a billion people a day have sex, not counting playing solo, and a great many are done for reasons that are less than saintly. I know I will sleep better knowing that the number now will be slashed to around 999,992. But that's because I'm jealous as I will be sleeping alone.
I think you need to check your math.... or your estimate of how many instances per day of sex there was in Coming Bar on soi 6. Did they really maintain a volume of 999 000 008 bar fines per day? That's impressive.

Very few Thais walk from point A to point B, even if it's just a matter of 100 meters. I'm thinking mentally they treat their motorbikes as the equivalence of walking, it is not really seen as a vehicle which has to follow ANY rules. That's why they drive on sidewalks, against traffic, drunk, without looking, etc. I'm surprised they don't drive them into the shops.

I believe that is mostly due to a change in the "definition" of rape, although i suspect that no matter the definition used there is an increase visible and it is related to the inflow of immigrants.
It's very difficult to fight willful ignorance

It's not just robbery. Sweden is said to now be the rape capital of Europe ! Well done Sweden with your failed liberal immigration policy.
Oh <deleted>, look at the background... the definition of what constitutes rape in Swedish law has broadened significantly. Well done you with your ill-informed ignorant post.

Mocking what you don't understand is just silly imo, i didn't say that i know that god exist, i just said that my logic, not your logic, tells me that there is an intelligent design.
Yeah that's not based on logic. I'm afraid you're abusing the language if you think that it's "logic".

Another big loss at Thai in 2018 (US$365 million) but no evidence that they are going to stumble upon the principal cause: that they are inevitably the most expensive option on any route out of Thailand. Even their "promotional" fares are often more than what their competitors charge. They might be able to pull it off if they had a superior product but this announcement would appear to indicate they are going to stick to the same cost-cutting strategy.
There aren't many options on some routes if you want to fly direct. For BKK-ARN (Stockholm) there's just the option of Norwegian and they're often as expensive as Thai Airways and they're slower. I am quite happy with the service and cost of Thai Airways on that route, most of the time. There are really cheap options, like flying Air India (2 stops and 30+ hours) or Air China (2 stops and 35+ hours). Weighing the price difference and the time difference into my decision usually means that Thai Airways wins.

Does filtering the smog through a cigarette help ??
Maybe a little bit, if it's filtered, if you don't light it - and if you remove the tobacco part.

Well, many posting here in favor of the smoking ban simply forget that many live in Bangkok - comparing the Bangkok air with a second hand puff is just ridiciulous. Any BBQ will release more toxic fumes than 1000 cigarettes.
People asking me for a light in Bangkok usually get the reply "Why smoke a cigarette? Just inhale." Not popular. And I know that the air pollution doesn't include nicotine.
On the other hand - people who add to the pollution just for the selfish enjoyment of smoking cigarettes can go f*%k themselves. -

I prefer Pratumnak hills and the running track there for my weekly exercise.
What running track? When I run across Pratumnak Hill I always get challenged by feral dogs, both by PEACH and along Thappraya Rd (if at night). Is there another path?

It’s a great idea. Any incentive to get rid of all stray/feral dogs gets my support.
