  1. Situations like this are our own doing, countries are being dragged back decades by the influx of people that will never coexist with the hosts.
Countries will become penniless trying to save people that do not want or need saving, just freeloading any system that allows them. These all came through a few safe refuge countries to want to enter Germany, UK and the likes of Sweden, why?..........

  2. I've seen that guy 'standing ' talking with a trader on Sukhumvit well dressed with a crutch, it was a well earned night off for him.
When i had the office just off sukhumvit about 15 years ago he was always crawling up and down ,saw many tourists giving him cash ,i also saw him many times ,standing in our side soi having a smoke and a laugh with other guys.needless to say i never gave him anything but a smile as i walked by.

  3. Les Miserables
Yes its a real stretch of the imagination with France having such a colorful police force back in the 1830's. Got to love the BBC ability to keep it all correct.
Manhunt was superb,as for Les Miserables, couldnt be bothered after 10 minutes cant stand the PC crap they put out these days
Silent Witness series 22 has just started ep 1is out there as of yesterday.

  4. I guess the title says it all. TPS say they sent me a 'Life Certificate', last Aug. Next thing is their notifying me (by letter dated 27 Nov; rec'd Fri 14 Dec) of failure to return form and stopping my pension payments as of 3 Dec. By midday, Mon 17 Dec I had the necessary 'proof of life' requirements and the replacement form was air-mailed to TPS. That was 22 days ago, accepting it spanned the Xmas/NY period, my pension pmts remain unpaid and my Thai wife and I are feeling the pinch.
My big question is, how reliable is the Thai Post office and is there a recommended course of action for complaining about mail lost-in-post? Knowing that the UK Post Office now comes 2nd to the US in the reliability stakes makes me curious as to how Thailand fares. Any advice will be welcome.
Just recieved a christmas card here in Pattaya,it was sent nearly 3 weeks before xmas from England Go figure.

  5. So far all the data and photos published regarding other planets, moons, comets and asteroids taken by these unmanned missions in our solar system, I have not found to be very impressive. Mostly rock, sand, gas, ice and nothing I could say is really interesting and exciting.

I can`t see how this present mission to study a piece of rock billions of miles away from Earth is worth the expense or how this will benefit mankind and science? Literally, seen one asteroid, seen them all.

After over 50 years of space exploration and trillions of dollars later, we have not come even one step closer to discovering lifeforms either in our solar system or beyond.

Yes but they have found us,they are seen visiting us all the time, mind you they dont seem to make a big deal out of it,just get seen by the usual aray of people but never make a big deal about it and contact our govts, strange that. But then unlike us its no big deal to all our visiting aliens to them its nothing to travel billions of miles ,fly around and then go home.
