your right they did away with it in 2010 ,but if you got it before that time you recieved it for 10 years and it finishes in 5 days 

Just a thought but how many of you lost your dependents allowance ,and will it change your life here or did you plan for it?

We own our house ,but the electricity is still in the name of the previous owner ,they want 2k to change it to our name,cant be bothered ,anyway we had a new meter installed last month ,all in our street did.

got hundreds of dvds purchased over the years ,cant remember when i last looked at one ,just get them on any torrent site . actually advertized them years ago ,never even got a reply .

Remember when we came over here to live ,the wife and i arranged a school for our boy and a home ,before we even brought him over,some people just are stupid and dont plan ahead ,we spent months doing it .andwe had my wifes family here where we could stay if we wanted.

We went out today to Tesco in Pattaya, wore masks wife sanitized the handles of the trolly ,my hands every 5 minutes ,it was very quiet ,shelves full of stuff ,only bread seemed in short supply ,plenty of eggs ,all other shops except banks and coffee shops closed ,take away only in food hall .

You only have to look at the Chinese who have settled here in Thailand to see that they always ,always take over ,i know as one of my sister in laws was married to a Thai /Chinese guy ,i met his father many times ,a very succesful businessman ,i liked him ,but to be honest he was a ruthless guy ,so was his son ,but nowhere as bright as him.A few years before he died he remarried a woman from China and left most  everything to her to ensure it stayed Chinese.i quite like her ,but she is a ruthless old dame as well.

we have a walking machine as well in the bedroom ,she runs on it (does marathons,but all stopped now) gets me on it a few times a week .

you have obviously never met my Thai wife ,she loves to chat and talk about things with me ,must be all those years she spent in the UK made her westernized,????

Ive always thought i am the most interesting person i know ,so being alone never worried me ,however its never happened ,i have never ever been alone ,except for a few days now and again.

As for going to the supermarket, yesterday had to queue for half an hour to get in then queue half an hour at the checkouts to pay, and distancing myself from other people by 2 meters at all times.

Actually as we had purchased stuff,the cashier asked if we wanted face masks we had a pack each of govt ones 10 baht for four . there was lots of sanitizer for sale ,
