Although we live on the outskirts of Pattaya and drive in often ,for the first time in ages we walked along beach road,i was suprised at how few tourists were actually around, the main ones were just a group of Chinese going into a Chinese restaurant,but none of the usual throng of westerners. Weny into Mikes ,it was deserted.

I cant imagine living in a condo,unless it is very large like our house is ,but then it would not cost 5 million but 20 million to get the same size,
Some of the shoeboxes i saw when my wife was selling them ,well you couldnt swing a mouse let alone a cat in them ,and cost over 2 million.

Being a vegetarian, i never get sick with food, but i hear many stories similar to yours, so you're not alone.
Lack of basic hygiene could be one of the reasons, but mostly i put it down to sheer carelessness, and a total ignorance about the proper use of fridges and freezers.

The worst ever case of food poisening was a vegatarian meal,i did not think it could be ,but was told by the doctor that you can get it from vegatables,,they were from Best in Pattaya. Never want to go through that again ,as for other cases used to get bad stomaches when i first came here ,but these days its rare.

I last visited H H over 10 years ago and it was so disgusting I never went back. Horrible place.
