No, obviously it's not all Trump's fault.

But Trump and Brexit are perfect examples how this word, or at least part of it, are developing.

Trump is an incompetent serial liar but 62 million Americans voted for him. I am not the only person who thinks that is not really a good sign.

And Brexit is especially popular with people who read all the lies which Boris and the UK press published over the last decade. Will Brexit improve the life of most people in the UK? The answer is obvious. But people still vote for Boris and Brexit. Amazing.

And then there are of course people like Rodrigo Duterte and other populists.

With elected leaders like that how can we expect a better world?

nothing to say really ,most people feel the opposite

I'm sorry you live with someone so insecure that taking a photo of a woman is grounds for stealing your property. I suggest you punish her by withholding sex for a month- that'll teach her.

Luckily for us though, we can easily find loads of photos of attractive bums on the internet ( at least the internet is useful for something other than waffling on TVF ).

it was a joke ,you do know that?

    It's all Trump's fault? Seriously?

I can't post political stuff on this sub forum, so I can't really reply to that here, sorry, But IMO he was as a result of western society collapsing, not the cause, and IMO western civilisation is as doomed as the Roman empire.

All civilizations collapse from within, and ours has been collapsing since the Vietnam war ended and we ran away.

Another civilization is abuilding to take over as I write and they are not concerned with what gender to call themselves.

I dont think our civilization is collapsing ,its being taken over by those from the poorer parts of the world ,who in the end will bring it down to their level

The first few episodes of series 2 of Britannia are out, we quite enjoyed series one so are hoping the second lives up to it. If you're looking for historical authenticity over entertainment then this is probably not the show for you.

    Synopsis from Wiki:

"Set in AD 43, the series follows the Roman conquest of Britain — "a mysterious land ruled by wild warrior women and powerful druids who can channel the powerful forces of the underworld." Celtic rivals Kerra and Antedia must work together to fight off the Roman invasion led by Aulus Plautius."

I just watched the trailor ,Serious question ,is it a comedy series?

London in the late 60's, what a scene it was.  Hollywood the sunset strip was a trip as well.  remember seeing Donovan at a club called the "Trip"  on Sunset in 66.  i had to sneak in.  latter he would write a song about it.  first time he went electric. great show. Sunshine Superman.  next year ditched school and saw Hendrix at Monterey.  he blew everyones mind.

I saw Hendrix in a small "disco" under a pub in Golders Green when he first came over ,we had never heard of him , a few weeks later ,he burst onto the "scene"

I'm an old millennial. I learned to code at 8 years old then I saw the emergence of the Internet. I was told by the older generation that lost it all in the dotcom bubble that my skills had no future.

I'm stubborn and didn't listen. I understood that to get total freedom all my business had to be virtual. It worked well for me.

I have no regret being born in the 80s. I've seen and experienced the old world without cellphone and I understand the new world better than most.

I would say the only thing I missed was the music, sex and drugs scene of the 60-70s on the west coast of the US. The backpacking in India, Afghanistan and SE Asia at that time. I have some friends who lived throught it and it must have been some glorious time.

You should have been in London in the late 60s early 70s ,wow, what times ,i mixed with people you only hear about today and the parties, wow ,life was a blast ,and spent time with a girlfriend and another couple, driving all over Europe ,

I wouldnt say it was all Golden...Thatcher and her recession ruined my life for three years and the 4 year apprenticship I secured, mortgage interest rates at 15%...even an ex rental TV cost almost 300 quid...it wasn't all good and holding down three jobs, working 12/14 hours a day 6/7 days a week to meet mortgage and poll tax bills wasn't easy, not forgetting negative equity on properties for 7 years....people have very short memories I'm afraid..

I loved the Thatcher years ,,i had a job as a shop manager ,earned a fair salery working 8/9 hours a day ,,so we had negative equity for a few years ,it was my home ,not a way to make money ,,interest rates 15% ,ok but not for long ,as for poll tax ,pity we dont still have it ,much fairer .ex rental tv was about 70quid ,i know ,i was selling them ,no way 300 quid .much better times ,people have ,short and twisted memories i fear .

wish we had Thatcher now ,

  9. Eventually the population will be culled ,nature has a way ,either through war ,disease or some other natural disaster ,but before that (and dont take this as racism) but peoples from other nations will flood in a tsunami into the developed nations and there will be very bad times ,what we are seeing at the moment seems a flood ,but its only a stream ,the tsunami is coming as disasters and starvation , and water shortages take over .
