This was spoken about a year ago also the government passed that hospitals could double bill foreigners regardless if they had insurance or not and that has been happening for years. I know I was a victim of double billing 10 years ago, but I had a good insurance company who challenged it and the hospital withdrew it. But after last years decision by the government hospitals can now charge foreigners what ever they like regardless.

The thing they forgot to mention about the incidents in the US and the UK is those incidents were fully investigated over weeks /months and EVERY little bit of evidence was looked at again and again. As for the 300,000 the police searched the Swiss guys home, but I didn't see and mention as to if they had made enquiries regarding who gave and where he got the money from. If the money was still on him when the cops arrived?????????????????

Pattaya was dying long before covid hit. With the restrictions the present government put on the place. Doubt it will ever be like it used to be. I can remember Soi Buakhao when it was near impossible to to walk down the Soi due to it being packed. About a year before covid hit you could walk down the middle of the Soi ten abreast with out blocking anyone's way of being.

Their money sting operation, wont affect tourism. They are being very careful not to let this information leak out in the world press. -
According to the NEW restrictions to come into effect on the 1st of October , less that 40% of the population will be able to enter restaurants and hair salons/barbers/ beauty salons, but 100% will be able to enter shopping malls, supermarkets, dry and wet markets and 7/11, Lotus Fresh and Mini Big C. Ha! Really makes sense!

He asked them for money at the beginning of the covid out break, they offered to loan the money, he refused, so they didn't contribute. Same when Tesco Started the Army tried to extort money, Tesco refused. BANG! Grenade is thrown into one of there stores. Tesco threaten to close ALL their stores in Thailand, placing thousands of Thais out of work. The government and foreign Embassies persuaded them to put a stop to it.

Sat in immigration wait to do my 90 days. gentleman walks in goes straight to a counter, no ticket number. hands over an envelope and out pop about 13 passports and 2 bundles of notes. 4 immigration officers counting the money ( that's how much they trust each other) leaving one officer to stamp the passports, (I'm still waiting) Only after had the money been counted did the gentleman get his passports back and off he went. I'm still waiting, 15 mins later they look at me and suddenly remember they have a customer.
