In Queensland Australia the rules said if you move through the intersection while the light is red ..you pay. If you are stationary ( traffic jam) you don't pay. That sounds fair. They should define the rules & situations that apply.

LPG is safer than petrol if fitted properly. I have been driving LPG for years. All LPG tanks have a safety valve that allows the gas to escape if burning do it does not explode, petrol tanks explode.
