  1. Was cabinet pudding on the menu?????
  2. Naturism is on the increase in the UK. Maybe he likes to wander around naked. For reference 7 August 2022: One of the unexpected results of the pandemic has been the rise of nudism – so much so that British Naturism is experiencing the fastest growth in new members in 100 years https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2022/aug/07/bare-with-us-why-naturism-in-britain-is-booming
  3. A happy ending for the young lad and well done Mister Policeman. Interesting comparison in the two photos, first shows a young lad in school uniform, the second a young lad in casual clothes wearing a baseball cap - stock photos???
  4. Tip offs prior to the raids???
  5. IMO would have made many of those disgusting tough and chewy balls used in soups and on sticks:
  6. Six large Chang's and a chicken vindaloo???
  7. When living in Thailand, I rarely used a 7-11 except when driving long distances, however when a rest/comfort break was required (at a PTT gasoline station), for refreshment I liked a 7-11 fresh sandwich (not toasted) with one of these:
  8. trying to find a "Shell" gasoline station?????
  9. Normal?? "Hello Mister" "What's your name" "Where you from" "Will you buy me a drink"
  10. An interesting and enjoyable post to read - for a change!
  11. I drove the scenic route via Wareham and Corfe Castle to enter Swanage. I used a cross country route from Newport Pagnell where I lived, to Salisbury, Blandford Forum, Morden and Wareham. It is a small world as they say.
  12. If you do decide to drive, may I suggest this route which I was familiar with when living in North Thailand. It avoids the cities of Khon Kaen and Korat. From Chiang Mai take route 11 via Lampang and Uttaradit to Phitsanulok (all by-passed). Join route 12 and head eastwards via Lomsak and the Nam Nao National Park to Chumphae. Turn right onto route 201 via Chaiyaphum to Sikhio where you meet route 2. Keep straight on under route 2 where route 201 becomes route 24. Eventually turn left onto route 218 for Buriram.
  13. IMO this would be the easiest, other than driving from Chiang Mai yourself. On arrival at KKC airport you will have to get a taxi to take you to the Bus Station on the south side of the city (off the ring road and route 2).
  14. How interesting, I know the area well when holidaying in the New Forest and visiting an elderly aunt across the border in Swanage (Dorset). This was many years ago and pre-craft beer breweries that are so popular in the UK these days. I do remember enjoying a pint or two of John Barleycorn bitter also Hall & Woodhouse' Badger Beer. In those days I lived in Newport Pagnell and the local "real" ales came from Charles Wells Bedford Brewery and Greene King Brewery in Bury St. Edmunds.
  15. Yes indeed, but with due respect, there are many Chinese ex pats (young and old) living in neighboring countries such as Cambodia for example, with no travel restrictions for tourists wanting to visit Thailand.
  16. Why not??? A popular man among many Northern folk, including some of us country bumpkins!! Sir, keep getting at this current incumbent Thai establishment.
  17. I totally agree but unfortunately I believe the military censors would remove it on orders "from above"! Happily, here in Cambodia there are many craft beer enterprises with no restrictions. Quote (14 March 2022) "Craft beer is not new to Cambodia, and in Phnom Penh alone, several well-established craft breweries have catered to the expat community to a large extent. However................. the growing number of craft breweries is creating a healthy competition rivalling the supremacy of the mass producers" https://www.khmertimeskh.com/501040821/expanding-the-ethos-of-craft-beer-in-kingdom/#:~:text=Craft beer is not new, community to a large extent.
  18. I wonder if she can perform the "London derriere" with a boyfriend named "Danny"?????
  19. According to Thai Tourism (TAT) - yes! Their Quote: "Safe and Trusted Thailand"????
