  1. They do it at home everyday. At least, in the States, it's a major issue for retailers, and they are mostly not confronted by staff for fear of being attacked, or because they've not incentive to do so.
  2. I applied online and received an email a few days later with an interview date.
  3. Yes, I have. I attended KMUTT
  4. Zertec is available at major pharmacies. Have you tried Claritin?
  5. The reason a certain former prime minister was considering moving the capital closer to his political base before the coup that ousted him.
  6. Those iPhones were probably stolen or purchased with stolen credit cards.
  7. Hmm! Guess who was the prime minister at the time!
  8. it's the same thing as a secured credit card which is offered in the US. However, you mostly have your deposit returned to you after a certain amount of time and the card is converted to an unsecured credit card.
  9. A lot of people are in denial, but the truth is the truth. You're either born a man or a woman. And if born a man and you decide to wear a dress, please change at home or in your car before going to the gym or other public places, and stop forcing your ideas, ways and beliefs on others.
  10. After traveling by Greyhound, and getting abandoned by 2 drivers who suddenly decided that they didn't want to continue with the journey because they'd prefer to be home, I'd choose traveling on a Thai bus any day over ever buying a greyhound bus ticket.
  11. About 7 years ago I ordered a Chromebook on Amazon and when it arrived I was asked to pay 2,000 by the FedEx delivery man and I refused to pay because I'd already paid the custom fee to Amazon. After I called Amazon to complain, my Chromebook was promptly delivered a few hours later. And from experience while shopping on ebay US, the custom fee is always included in the final amount during checkout.
  12. Hmm! Does that mean someone was ONLY at the hospital for just 2 hours and was spirited away? Well, that explains the reason members of the opposition on a fact finding mission to the hospital were denied access to his room.
  13. they want tourism dough, so they have to put up with the trash that a lot of them bring
  14. What criminal activities was he involved in? He drunkenly ran over a policeman with his Ferrari, and paid a monetary compensation to his family. Yes, they tried a cover up which didn't work, and when the powers that be for reasons unknown wanted to make an example of him, he left the country. I believe the interpol don't just act without reviewing related facts about those notices.
  15. My last flight from San Francisco to Tokyo experienced nonstop turbulence for more than 6 hours. The pilot actually announced during takeoff that we should keep our seatbelt on because we were going to be experiencing hours of turbulence
  16. that's because they were losers back home
  17. it's the same in the US. Anything without an unhealthy amount of sugar and salt is significantly more expensive.
  18. A tool and his money are soon parted. One would think that at the very least a retired professor would have been reading/listening to/watching the (Thai) news regarding these scams in the last few months.
  19. We had to move out of a rented townhouse because of the neighbors always parking across our gate, and they were very hostile from day one. Also, a friend told me of their relatives' experience in Chaing Mai where their next door neighbor started making lots of noise and obstructing their driveway after he approached them to buy their property and was turned down. I believe they mostly start acting like brats when they want you gone.
  20. I'm in the process of buying a 3B2B 1,050 square feet house in the US for around $300k including closing costs, and this is located just about a 30 minutes drive from a very busy airport. Edit to include price & size of the house, and typo correction
  21. and in America, this would be put on his credit file at all the credit bureaus making it impossible for him to rent for the next 7 years
  22. It's a multiple entry visa. You receive 180 days once a year on arrival, which means you can actually enter 5x5 yrs. It's like the US 10 years multiple entry visa which allows a stay of 180 days annually for 10 years. However, Thailand is making it possible to renew for an additional 180 days within the country before you're required to exit the country and return.
