    Interesting. I'd not heard of that. From looking at the site, though, it says you get a reservation, not a ticket. Is that good enough?

    Natural selection is always at work. It's just that "fittest" might not be what you want it to be.

    You get a new visa every year? An extension is relatively cheap. I did it for more than a decade pre-covid, and I think it was something like 1,900 baht per year. I don't remember exactly, but it wasn't a lot.
