  1. Translation: "Let them eat cake"
  2. One can't return to a place they've never been. ????
  3. It was stupid to say what he said, and for him to not realize that before saying it is telling.
  4. Really. I'd think you could pick 300 people at random on the street and find several with illicit substances.
  5. A couple of months ago I woke to the sound of someone trying to open the door to my condo. Did I shoot him? No, instead I said, through the slatted door, "What ya doin' there mate?" He said "I live here". "What floor do you live on?" I asked. He got extremely apologetic and walked up one flight to his floor. One life saved. ✅
  6. Can't outlaw it. The only way to stop a bad guy in a dress is with a good guy in a dress.
  7. Scientific facts and theories are two different things. Theories are attempts to explain how or why something happens. Saying something is "just a theory" betrays a lack of appreciation of what a scientific theory is. What in everyday speech is called a theory is really, at best, a hypothesis. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scientific_theory
  8. And as for the question of "How many is too many?", the answer is one.
  9. Yes, that is the discussion. It is not the other thing, the thing I replied to.
  10. No one is saying otherwise. The discussion is about the fairness/reasonableness of it. If the law were, say, crossing the street against the light is punishable by execution, I think a large percentage of the readers would agree that's an unfair law. But I'd definitely still abide by it when in Singapore.
  11. "Greatest country in the world! Also I am afraid of anyone who comes near me."
  12. Me too, and now my dick is all pixelated. Doctors are baffled.
  13. Prostatitis is checked by the doctor massaging your prostate until fluid emerges from your penis. That fluid is tested in the lab.
  14. Sure, but obviously they can't complain because they have no grounds.
  15. 0.4mg of Tamsulosin daily works very well for me. Sold in pharmacies as UroFlow. Every case is different, of course, but it's easy and relatively inexpensive to try. If it works he'll see results in a couple of days.
  16. I don't know of any place in Thailand, though I think your LB idea is a good one. Also searching for alopecia on TikTok shows a great many people making short videos focusing on dealing with it, including quite a few in Thai.
  17. The True Believers will send in their nickels and dimes to pay for it. It's always good to have a new enemy when launching the next fundraising campaign.
  18. The woman I've known with this found that the money is better spent on nice wigs rather than treatment. That's just one person though.
  19. To be fair that happens every day.
  20. I know of one recent case. Farang died while out of the country. Long-time TGF was the sole beneficiary in his Thai will. The only asset was his 800k baht (to meet the visa requirement). She went to two lawyers. Each quoted her a 120,000 baht fee. While she was not on the account, she did have the ATM card and PIN. I don't know what she chose to do, but I have a guess.
  21. Executing the will using a lawyer costs money, perhaps 100k. If your only asset is the bank account that's a big percentage.
  22. Agree. Wise takes just seconds to hit my account, the fee is reasonable, and the exchange rate is excellent.
