  1. They are not that easy to disable and IF the traffic cops made stops, and downloaded the info they would know immediately, its the RTP that are the problem, taking bribes, and large companies should have a transport manager to check them. At least the majority would not disable them. IMO
  2. You can put in as many rest stops as you like, how will that make PSV drivers stop and rest? There is not even a basic law here on drivers hours, so nothing to enforce, they really do need to wake up (no pun intended) MODERN Digital TACOGRAPHS should become MANDATORY as have been law on all new commercial vehicles since 2006 in the UK. + dashcams. Is around 20k baht (factory fitted) too much to pay for saving lives, I'm sure some minister could bring in the law and make a bit for his back pocket, maybe a family member can open a business to fit them. Owners could be given say 2yrs to pay at 500b a month. Oh sorry that's logic. DO IT !

  12. Maybe in Thailand, spouse is a very old terminology for wife, a long term partner relationship is also recognized as a spouse in the UK. I moved to OZ with my long term GF from the UK and she was considered my spouse on the immigration visa form, she got there solely on my qualifications.
  13. How does a UK hospital know you have been living abroad? ID is not compulsory in the UK, all you really need is your national insurance number, plenty of walk in doctors to register if need be.
