Just clicked on the full story, and low and behold below this story there is a vid showing one of the *new* witnesses dying in a M/C accident, surprised TV didn't pick up on this story.

Surely if you are here on retirement visa, then you have a permanent address hence the 90 day report, therefore it should only be necessary to produce your passport at immigration with maybe copies.  I have done it only with passport.

So why are cars excluded? and when they say trucks does that include 1 ton pick-ups (with 3 ton rear springs) which are often referred to as trucks?  wow if i believed this for 1min I'd get more than my pension every month.

You will need a Cert. of residence from immigration to register a car in your name so yes a permanent address, & visa i believe it can not be a tourist visa.

So I understand that it's just the gasket cover joint that is leaking, and it's not urgent repair. But then, can this joint be changed or something like silicone must be used ? Do you think that any standard garage can do it in 1 hour while i'm waiting ?

Maybe If they have a new gasket, it is such a small leak don't panic. This part of the oil system is not pressurized.

So you got 300 mil from red bull can we please see where that ended up, or is that also uncomfortable for you to disclose, go on i dare you to show the public. 

There is also an amnesty on renewing driving license (my wife was told) till the end of OCT  you can not renew a license without a *current* visa, and residence letter from immigration or yellow book, always has been that.

Well not sure about that, plenty around here do, apart from general exercise, there are many YouTube vids in thai, my missus has been doing one on yoga, depends how lazy she is really, as for food or anything it can all be delivered. Take her a laptop so much to watch, get Netflix, spend a little if you want to make her happy, for a few days more.

Why check the oil of an engine not being used. On return to get oil and fuel around the system, with a full battery, you could remove the plug leads and even the plugs and spin the engine over a few times,

Sorry but that s the most stupid suggestion, soap is made from bones, i have seen rats teeth marks on soap in my bathroom, after that i used it in rat traps to huge success. edit; I would also advise not to put rice in the car ie rat food.

Next they could use the cookie monster.
