Well here we are with A nut in government handing out uncovered face masks with uncovered hands holding them, while without wearing a face mask spitting anger to the press coz someone refused his offer, apparently he is the health minister, and immigration still accepting arrivals from China. What a mess they have managed to make of this situation. The only good news i heard yesterday, sort of, was, they are now checking the temp of all people taking ferries to Koh Chang.

They dilly dailies too long in enforcing the ALLforeigners get a Trackable SIMCHIP. .. SthAustralian police are currently actively tracking specific Chinese 'tourists' movements here.
- it is too late to worry about privacy.
They should implement TM 28 in South OZ then.

We need to stop it as soon as possible and not lean back and watch what will happen. I see the proactive stance of the Thai government as a positive approach. Of course it is free to you to say "Don't worry". Let it be your personal experience and don't blame others.
In the meantime still allowing arrivals from China, very proactive indeed ehm.

I drive a tank so I'm not worried. Stupid comparison.
Your barking up the wrong tree ( pun intended) Submarine is the way to go, it worked in the 1962 movie "Day of the Triffids" with a little help from an ice cream van. Oh stupid me i was thinking about that silly virus that is 100% under control.

People are always paranoid due to what the media writes. Right now, the media focus on virus but not accidents which killed more people looking at how Thai drivers drive.
So lets be Conservative with the figures; lets say 60% of Thai drivers are terrible by your comment you are saying 2% of these bad drivers will die.

At the moment, yes, you 'should' be more worried about Thailand's roads. I am worried. The only reason I worry more about the coronavirus is because I feel like I have very little control. At least when I'm driving in Bangkok, I can drive as safely as possible (and to a certain extent trick myself I'm in full control).
With this new virus, I worry because there's little I can do if the s*** hits the fan. The government are not helping either. It would be nice if they were doing something to look proactive. It feels like they just wanna ignore it and hope it goes away. That's very worrying.
Well said.

Very dangerous for people riding their M/C on the footpath, what were they thinking no consideration there should be a law against it.

Deadly? Lol. Influenza killed ~600000 last year. That's 1640 per day. Corona needs to keep it up to beat that.
In what countries and what was the death rate the year before it is a preventable and curable virus if you catch it in time, unlike the corona that can multiply quickly

Dream on. Half the folk round my neck of the woods don't even know who Prayuth is as they trundle along to the fields to burn some more sugar cane.
I just did a survey asking Thais if they liked Prayut they pronounced his name as Pry-At in the survey 100% of the people interviewed crossed their forearms across their chest with fists clenched ❌ all 5 of them. Thais in general do know who he is they watch TV.
