There were only overnight buses when I went 8 yrs ago, now the 12hr. Edit ( I'm glad we used the busses the views were stunning) overnight sleeper bus rides take just 2hrs by the new fast train. I think that could have got lost in translation. Alien Book = Yellow House book.... once you have the yellow book, you then can have a Pink ID card. But I think you must be registered in the Blue book first.
