The last LOR I got from Trat was free but a 3 day wait, no other options.

But are YOU paying any fees without a receipt ? I decided to take a stand today albeit a small one, they didn't get their made up fee, a small step but in the right direction. IMO I am not airing "My Beef" in general about immigration. This is about plain extorsion that has just started at what was a once friendly single officer, sub-office. And most of their talking to me about the fee was done outside, away from cameras. Maybe I'll get shot...................................

Yes I have photos of all my important docs on my phone, but I only really need copies when I do my yearly marriage extension, that would create even more frigging copies of the 26 docs and 12 glossy photos, already needed, and as Trat require Everything dated the same day so I get everything printed at a good photo copy shop close by. On the plus side last year the office was vary crowded in Trat as so many were getting extensions, and most would have been from Koh Chang, so it should be a lot quieter in Trat. I will report them to Trat as My wife and I have a very good respeitar/respect for each other They give her gifts like dried bananas even come out to the car to say hello if she doesn't come in with me.

Well funnily enough I was going to ask if they charge for a LOR, but I thought it would be a rhetorical question, now I regret not asking in actual fact, I had the whole offices attention, including a 'falang couple' who were broadly smiling at the shenanigans. One of the annoying things he said, was, 'it's cheaper than the ferry to pay the fee', using that as, well, like we have you in a trap, I then also pointed out years ago when they had different staff I was asked 500b for the ferry, when I politely pointed out, 'I didn't invite you, you came by choice'. well I didn't take his bait he can go fork himself, in fact it's almost worth the 400baht return price just to piss him off. I guess they will come mob handed again in Jan when I have my home visit, and not just the older guy, cctv up and running.

I have 2 that live somehow behind the indoor unit, I have a hose fitted to the drain pipe outside, and when in the past I've had water dripping inside, I have filled my lungs and blown into it, out came a slimy dead 'gecko'. You should not be getting any leaks at all, that would indicate your drain pipe is blocked, or the inside 'condenser' needs cleaning.

Well the Rot has set in now on Kho Chang, with the office now fully staffed, instead of just the one older guy doing the 90 days, ( the same guy who does my home visit) I just went to do my 90 day report, and they wanted 100baht 'service fee', I said OK give me a Receipt, had 3 different officers repeat it, so I just repeated no not unless you give me a receipt, this is not about the money but the principle, I walked out with my passport new 90 day in my passport, to be followed out by the older guy, saying he will take care, off he goes and comes out, everything is now ok and I can go, out comes 2 more officers, trying to explain that now they are busy they need to charge, I just repeated the no receipt rhetoric......and now we can do yearly extensions there, I told the lady I still need to go to Trat, Laem Ngop as my bank is only in Trat now, "Oh I can take care of that" she says. Oh yeh I bet she can.......$$$$$. I know I can do it on line but it is so easy for me to pop in while out shopping. I rang 1178 just now and they want all my details, before one can make a report, something I fear would have bad repercussions for me. No wonder they get away with so much corruption. So your suggesting spending 20K for a complete new A/C as opposed to 4.5 K to repair the old one. You can't buy just the outside unit, just like you can't buy just the flush system 'tank' on it's own for a toilet.
