  1. I am looking for an adres to buy some good quality but reasonably priced hdmi cable. also i am looking for some speaker cable. Anybody knows a good adres for this? most likely this will be somewhere in pantip plaza. i just would like to avoid walking around there for hours looking for the best place

Try Fortune Town on Rama 9 MRT station, top floor at the very end theres an electronics place Amorn sells them, don't know how much but everythings at cheap prices, they also sell all the dj equipment.

  2. May be a bit of a long shot but does anyone know where I can buy some foam padding to put on top a mattress, got a guest staying for a while and they can't get away with the hard mattress so thought the extra padding may help.

    Thanks.

  3. It depends if you have it configured already somewhere and want to retrieve the info, or if you have never configured it in your email client before and want to know what it is.

The standard way is to ask your ISP. Or if you are using a web host, (for example you want the smtp server for your new website) ask them.

Maybe if you said why you need this, can suggest other ways to fix your problem.

Some one needs to send e mails via explorer, if that makes sense to you.

  4. Interesting - I thought the keyboard was just a feature of the iPhone that got unlocked, e.g. language support which is already built into the phone and which can be enabled by adding the correct language resources and preferences. It's not a separate app, it's more like a resource pack. That's why I thought they could enable this easily on any jailbroken iPhone. But maybe I am wrong...

Theres a lot of Thai stuff appeared on installer, sure I seen a keyboard there.

  5. Hi Folks,

I would like please to know how to translate a US Birth Certificate into Thai and get it legalized by the Thai MFA here in Bangkok? I know I will get sticks for it, but I didn't pass by the Thai Embassy in DC. Although the Birth Certificate is been Legalized by the US Department of State.

    Thanks for your help.

    Have a great weekend!

Didn't get a birth certificate translated but a marraige certificate, should be the same thing though. I had to get a letter from the British Embassy saying it was a genuine certificate then took it to one of the translation shops on Wireless Road, they can do everything for you or you can pick it up and take it to the MoFA yourself and sit for half a day total cost was about 2,500 baht (embassy letter cost 1200 baht). Hope this is of help to you.

  6. Hi,

I note that you say that your thai female friend can get a uk visa ok but has to wait for an appointment for a Schengen visa from the german embassy.

It would seem that as yet your friend does not have a visa to visit the uk so I am curious as to why she is so confident that a uk visa will be approved, paricularly in such a short period of time, appointments are not always necessary I know but unless she already has a UK visa it might be she is being a little overconfident as to a UK visa being proceesed so quickly.

Without all the info its hard to decide which is the best advice to give

She has already been to the UK a few years ago on holiday by her own means, she actually went to boarding school there about 35 years ago, she also has a very good job and has a business of her own as well so there shouldn't be a problem with the UK visa. It's actually German national friends that are getting married in Germany but the weddings on the 2nd and her appointments on the 4th.

    Thanks.

  7. A Thai friend of mine wants to go to the U.K. and Germany in September, she can get the U.K. visa ok but the Germany one they say she has to wait for an appointment on the 4th September, she wants to travel on the 2nd because a friend is getting married in Germany.

Anyway she can get her visa before the 2nd apart from going on a waiting list for an earlier appointment or is there an alternative visa she can apply for.

    Any help much appreciated.

  8. I think you more or less described how syncing with iTunes works. What you need to do is maintain a library of all your tunes/movies on your Mac/PC and sync this to your iPod/iPhone.

I had an nano before this and I could drag across movies and music onto the nano and still keep all my other sruff on even though it wasn't in the library, thought I might be able to do the same thing but I guess I'll just have to load everything back into Itunes.

    Thanks.

  9. When we lived in the U.K. four years ago I bought my wife a satelite system for Eutelsat you get TGN plus a Thai Buddhist channel, TGN is a mixture of programmes from most of the stations, but beware I could never watch uk tv again, cost around 140 pound at the time.

  10. Got an Iphone but everytime I try to transfer music or movies it wipes the thing clean and adds the stuff I've just transfered, what do I need to do to keep everything.

    Thanks.

  11. any idea which shop?

If you go on the phone floor heading toward all the dvd shops at the end, on the right hand side as you pass the car accessories shop theres a guy there sells them for 17,500 just on the corner as it opens out into a wider space, most down will quote between 17,500 and 18,500.

  12. I've got some freinds going to Krabi in a few days time, anyone know of any decent bungalows around 500 baht mark, also can anyone let me know the best way for them to renew their 30 day V.O.A. from Krabi.

    Any help much appreciated

  13. thanks for that. how was the surrounding area? was it easy to get food around the hotel?

has anyone also heard of Thien Thong Hotel or The Twin Tower Hotel Bangkok?

If you Google" Twin Tower Hotel Bangkok Tripadvisor " you'll get 43 reviews from people who have stayed there, a real good sight for checking out hotels.
