What's the Big Deal? Only for LOCAL CALLS . Nah I'll Pass ????
What did you expect, Free calls to call home lol....For those that are actually in Thailand using AIS sim, it helps.

I'm sure there's a lot of horny, sexually frustrated guys who been cooped up at home for the pat few months that will raise the Titanic to get in Thailand once the doors open.
-
Is the catch into all of this is that you need to have an already AIS existing package of just a AIS sim card without package?

I absolutely amazed by people that can live without A/C at this time of year, how on earth can that be comfortable?
Guess saving and bragging about your aircon bill overshadows being comfortable to some. I'm and so many others is the opposite.

40-50k per month. Yea right maybe 20 years ago she was making that kind of money. Those beer bars have been dead for the past 5 years with maybe a handful bars open with that muay thai boxing ring.

so by my calculations this would equate to 14,600 baht pocketed for the BIB.
11 x 1,000 for the farangs & 12 x 300 for the Thais.
All off the books of course.
Not bad for a mornings work, especially during covid-19 ????
Where did you get 1,000 bht. I think the fine is a tad higher then a traffic ticket. More like trying to squeeze the max 100,000 bht fine from the falang and 1,000 bht for the Thais.

Dreaming is allowed. The ladies won't return till the mongers do and that is who knows how far away.
Nonsense, Majority of the girls working in bar receive a monthly salary. It may not be much after deductions from lady drink quota and bar fines but its more then them making nothing sitting in the village.
-
They should name that part of Thailand to kingdom of Buriram as they want to make their own silly laws and regulations. Next thing you know you need a special visa for falang to get in.

So only half the planes will be filled any given flight. Great idea for plane companies to make back money they lost.

how can you have a 'New Year' when it isn't 'New Year'? They may have a new festoval at some time, but it won't be Songkran. In any event, don't they have enough already?
Because Its these Thais take every advantage to celebrate a holiday even if its not their holiday like Christmas which they dont even know anything about it except santa clause. Don't think moving songkron a few months up the calendar is going to effect anyone one.

LOl....... I live in Issan and can assure you that even land owners here are struggling to live these days beyond any hi so living in a high rise in Bangkok......Don't think it was the old General Prayut who introduced Thailand's poor to the 30 bht universal medical scheme was it.

Where I live you cant find them anywhere, Not Tescos, Big C, PTT, Pharmacy, so my wife makes here own hand sanitizer. She buys alcohol from the pharmacy or lazada if they dont have any and mixes fresh aloe vera from our garden.

Im sure you will be able to walk faster to get where your going then sit in traffic for hours on Shukumvit.

Absolutely despicable what the Thai government is doing to its people. My Thai wife who owns her small salon at our village home also like so many others got refused the 5,000 bht relief aid money. She got a sms from the government saying she is the owner of her business and does not need the money. She was livid writing them back that you forced me to close my shop and that is preventing me from making income while others business owners were getting their 5,000 bht.
There was a large protest on Thai TV today of people that didn't get the aid money who really need it and were furious of their government that are not looking after the poor and only the rich. People were so desperate many were calling for Thaksin to come back and help them as at least he helped the poor when he was in office as it dont look good form many people. I'm disgusted.

Eighty year old Frenchman pays 50,000 bail for flouting Pattaya beach regulations
in Pattaya News
Posted
Assuming it was an actually bail bondsman, But with out seeing any kind of ID that he was one or an receipt he paid to one it sounds like an old fashioned Pattaya police scam as the bondman was more likely a cop or a friend of the police as who knows especially to the french man and his wife who were victims of Pattya's finest.
