Well It's an assumption that sometime in the future he will be looking for a salary increase. The BBC could try a 2 tier MOTD Tier 1 MOTD similar to last saturday no increase on license fee Tier 2 Pay for view MOTD where the Luvvies pay extra to Watch Linker and his Crew and advise Linker that any salary increase is linked to the Pay for view MOTD viewing numbers -

Not only the Tories Labour thought about leaving ECHR as shown here Lord Goldsmith, the attorney general, pointed out that Britain would be in breach of its EU membership terms if it sought to wriggle out of its responsibilities under the separate ECHR. https://www.theguardian.com/news/2015/mar/24/how-immigration-came-to-haunt-labour-inside-story

PETER HITCHENS: End this crude smear against conservatives - Hitler’s Nazis were in fact left-wing racists... Gary Lineker knows as much about politics as I know about football The Nazis were very Left-wing. They hated Christianity and deliberately set children against their parents. They imposed penal taxes on the middle class and attracted Communists to their ranks. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-11848611/PETER-HITCHENS-End-crude-smear-against-conservatives.html -

Just think the millions that the BBC could save each year if they ditch all presenters and commentators And with the savings they would make they could re-introduce free TV license's for the Over 75's -

Drive for a year and still won't give the license plate... https://www.dailynews.co.th/news/1927506/ Group of customers suing dealership for not providing correct plates Interesting at the bottom of this article it does state if your not provided with the correct plates within the 60 day time period In which the victim does not have to pay off the car with the finance company as well there is a case where Supreme Court had a judgment that favors the victims because the finance company did not comply with the contract...

Most dealerships are not really interested in Cash buyers or Buyers that want to put down 25/30% deposit on a zero interest deal ( Normally over 4 years) They will tell you not to put down a large deposit and advise you to put down the bare minimum 5% and they will advise why do 48 months when you will be more comfortable with an 84 month repayment loan. What they don't tell you is when the deposit on a car is reduced at the same time the interest rate increases same with number of months repayment loan the if low deposit and long repayment schedule = higher interest I know some people that accept what they are told at dealerships without question paying for between 30-50% over the total price of the vehicle So yes big bucks in comissions for car finance
