Sugguestions - electric small city 4 door car.
vinny41 replied to scorecard's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
The ops best bet is defined a max budget if your budget is less than 1 million baht that will leave you with a shortlist of currently 4 or 5 cars ( there may be more at the end of this month as the motorshow will be open at Bangkok) I wouldn't called the MG ZS EV a small car also prices starting at 949,000 baht if your looking for something the size of a Yaris suggest you look at Neta V prices from 549,000 baht When you look at different models ask what the lead time is for delivery some models it will be a couple of weeks some models it may be 6-9 months -
best thai debit card to use in UK
vinny41 replied to daytraderuk99's topic in Jobs, Economy, Banking, Business, Investments
My understanding is this card isnt linked to your current/savings account you simply transfer money from your current/savings account when you want to use card, you can also set daily amounts for purchases or atm transfers yourself rather than having to contact bank, and you can disable/enable card yourself so if you don't have any planned purchases for a month simply disable card -

The Op posted he had an onward flight into BKK Suvarnabhumi which clearly isn't an onward flight unless you plan to disagree with your own postings -

The airline will require you to provide proof of onward flight out of Thailand not inwards -
Bringing a Samsung A53 5G GSM Unlocked International Model?
vinny41 replied to InlandSea's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
I Personally wouldn't touch Huawie with a bargepole 2 much bloatware for my linking as for the speed of the A series 33 ,53 73 they seem to run fine as shown in many reviews. The op hasn't mentioned what is useage of the phone is going to be who knows maybe it will be just for making receiving calls and texts so speed is irrelevant -
Bringing a Samsung A53 5G GSM Unlocked International Model?
vinny41 replied to InlandSea's topic in Mobile Devices and Apps
You should also check out A33 its virtually the same spec you can compared here https://droidsans.com/samsung-galaxy-a13-a23-a33-a53-a73-specs-compare/ or here https://www.samsung.com/nz/news/local/galaxy-a53-5g-and-galaxy-a33-5g-awesome-mobile-experiences-open-to-everyone/#:~:text=Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G support up to,five years of security updates. Samsung have stated they will offer 4 android os updates and 5 years of security updates from the year that the phone was released which was March 2022 so if you buy these models this year security updates until March 2027 https://www.sammobile.com/samsung/what-galaxy-devices-get-four-android-os-upgrades/ You can buy your samsung directly from Samsung here https://www.samsung.com/th/smartphones/galaxy-a/galaxy-a53-5g-awesome-blue-128gb-sm-a536elbgthl/buy/ Or there are shopping channels here such as Shopee and Lazada https://shopee.co.th/Samsung-Galaxy-A53-5G-(8-128GB)-i.83276818.14665118353?xptdk=a3b6016a-6eaa-4a51-be3c-b8ebfad3dd16 https://www.lazada.co.th/products/samsung-galaxy-a53-5g-8128gb-i3514346372-s13090298343.html? -
Most dealers will want to see a down payment of approx 30% the uncertainty of your planned length would put the majority of lenders off if you mention it. If you look at the numbers at a car priced at 800,000 30% down is 240,000 baht leaving 560,000 plus XXX interest its unlikely that you will get 0% interest on a used car if assume 4% interest loan repayable over 24 months which would bring the balance to 604,800 baht 24 monthly payments of 25,200 Yes buying a car and selling it will be cheaper that rental But we have seen on this forum where people are stuck when selling their cars simply they are priced to high I noticed that Kinto does have 2 year contract on some used cars for example Toyota Corolla Cross 1.8 Sport (used car, good condition) is does limit no of km per year 25,000 km/year (you can increase that price increases at the same time) replacement car if car in for a service or waiting parts they pay for the servicing and car insurance for 2 years total cost 15,390 baht/month https://www.kinto-th.com/RegisterDetailStep1.aspx?ModelId_Selected=84 Yes when looking at brand new compact suv there not many below 1 million baht example Toyota Corolla Cross is priced between ฿989,000 - 1.2 Million Yes some people will say rental is a waste and I would agree if you were more clear about how long your planning to stay example if your planning to stay 3/4 years its a no brainer purchase will be the better option

Because if you had read the entire thread you would have seen a post where a member was suggesting that it would be a good idea for the UK to rejoin the Dublin Regulations which would be a werid step seeing that the EU to abolish Dublin regulation 2020 Speaking to the European Parliament in her annual State of the Union speech on Wednesday (16 September), European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen confirmed the EU executive wants to abolish the so-called ‘Dublin Regulation’ https://www.euractiv.com/section/justice-home-affairs/news/mandatory-relocation-still-point-of-contention-in-new-eu-migration-pact/
-
3. Even more strikingly, the Dublin Regulation inflow to the UK in the year 2018 was nearly six times the outflow. As the Home Office noted in February 2019: "There were 1,215 transfers into the UK under the Dublin Regulation. The majority (946) of these transfers came from Greece https://www.migrationwatchuk.org/briefing-paper/444/transfers-of-asylum-seekers-from-the-uk-under-the-dublin-system
-
Why don't you contact HMG and ask them yourself
-
The large numbers coming in by boat are using a loophole that allows them to stay without claiming asylum So even if the UK was still part of the Dublin agreement that agreement can't be used when people are claiming they to be trafficked https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2022/08/15/albanian-migrants-exploiting-modern-slavery-law-loophole-record/

Op should be aware in Thailand there are some cars that only have 2 air bags and they are for the front passengers only There are a number of cars that get a very high rating in the Euro NCAP unfortunately in most cases a different spec with some features are omitted when selling cars in Thailand Top Rank: What are the safest cars according to ASEAN NCAP? 2020 https://www.wapcar.my/news/top-rank-what-are-the-safest-cars-according-to-asean-ncap-7451 Kajang, Malaysia, 23 March 2022 – The New Car Assessment Program for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN NCAP) kicked start 2022 with the assessment of Toyota’s latest MPV model; the new Toyota Veloz. https://v4-web.aseancap.org/post/9150 The op doesn't say how old his children are but I would suggest do a search for an article that was published 2 days "Tragedy sees calls for child-safe cars" Toyota do offer a long term rental scheme no down payment you just made monthly payments and return the car at the end of the period https://www.kinto-th.com/Home.aspx

2 small for a family of four assuming they will travel for holidays "Storage space is tight inside the C-HR. Rear trunk space is about average for the class at 19 cubic feet. You can fold down the rear seats to access 37 cubic feet of capacity, but that https://cars.usnews.com/cars-trucks/toyota/c-hr/interior#:~:text=With 19.1 cubic feet of,tricky to stow heavy cargo.&text="Storage space is tight inside the C-HR.

You have a werid way of looking at this the driver and the delivery company are acting on behalf of the seller when the seller selects a delivery service to delivery items on their behalf the delivery company will be informed that this is a COD delivery if the delivery company doesn't want to handle that type of delivery they do have the option of simply saying no thanks to the seller we prefer not to handle COD types of delivery As for the buyer there is nothing wrong with the buyer requesting to the driver that they open the item in front of the driver to ensure the item is what they have ordered and it hasn't been damaged during the shipping process in fact most sellers do ask the buyers to video the opening of the package

How to transfer data from your old Android phone to your new phonehttps://www.samsung.com/uk/support/mobile-devices/how-do-i-switch-my-android-device/ https://support.google.com/android/answer/6193424?hl=en-GB In some cases not all data will be transferred so it worth making a note of file sizes and number of files in each directory and compared results from old phone and new phone

If your thinking about getting a Samsung just fyi they have updated and increased the OS and security updates so for example A33 A53 released in March 2022 will receive 4 years of Android OS updates and 5 years of security updates https://droidsans.com/samsung-galaxy-a13-a23-a33-a53-a73-specs-compare/ https://www.samsung.com/nz/news/local/galaxy-a53-5g-and-galaxy-a33-5g-awesome-mobile-experiences-open-to-everyone/#:~:text=Galaxy A53 5G and Galaxy A33 5G support up to,five years of security updates. I have a Xiaomi phone which was released in 2018 as I don't use the phone as a dual sim I have a 512GB storage card as well as the onboard 64GB storage giving me combined storage space of 576GB

Some people have stated that to uninstall apps you need to uninstall via settings > Apps > Manage apps?
-
Have you performed a full factory reset sounds like you might have some malware I have owned Xiaomi phones for over 5 years never encounter any problems that your having as for apps i don't need I just uninstalled them

I think you will find that the majority of the increase pricing is a result of taxes I don't believe for a moment that a single motorist benefited from when oil was -$37 dollars a barrel as shown here https://www.nbcnews.com/business/markets/oil-prices-tumble-lowest-level-1980s-n1187716 As for Petroleum by-products Over 6,000 items are made from petroleum waste by-products, including: fertilizer, flooring (floor covering), perfume, insecticide, petroleum jelly, soap, vitamins and some essential amino acids.[5] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Petroleum_product
