    I think thailand has enough tourists now,35,000,000 this year approx ? Do they need to ram any more in? Sustainable tourism is the way ahead ?

    I really wish the conspiracy theorists would leave public health issues alone ,why dont they stick to aliens ,jfk and diana ? All the un scientific trash talk is causing vaccine hesitancy in the population when there was very little before.Now people (kids) are getting sick because they are not having basic vaccines they used to take as a matter of course measles,mumps and rubella for example.

    Check for spy cams in Airbnb rooms there have been a few instances of this in europe .

    We have 12 rescue cats (had more but they died).Have to keep them in the house and garden because some nasty old lady was poisoning them (eating her chickens ?). My thai wife and her mom often rescue street cats and find homes for them on facebook cat groups. Also spent quite a bit taking injured street cats to the vet (had 2 who lost a leg). Nice to hear other members taking care of so many (wow 60 😀).

    Lets repeat that they want 80 million tourists (double the 2019 numbers). Madness ,talk about dilute the tourist experience ,how about destroy it! As the countries start to push back against mass tourism like Spain ,Thailand marches in the opposite direction.Hub of overtourism.

    Its off this topic but since you ask. If you follow what she says i do on x and you see she consistently champions womens rights (such as the right to choose an abortion or not). Follow her or google what she says that is what i base my statement on. like i said think about it!

    Its interesting to see the back lash against mass tourism in spain for example who have over 100 million tourists a year.BBC showing street demonstrations in Barcelona ,the locals are fed up with the extreme pressure on infra structure .rents etc. will this ever happen in Thailand ? How many tourists is too much? 40 million in 2019 was too much?

    Had a problem last week with wise Bouncing 2 transfers back to me ,i got a refund . Got an error message your bank details are incorrect ,which wasnt true. I called them and they said they had a problem with the thai bank they use. All this when the exchange rate was the best its been for years ☹️

    Best to use cash (exact money) very quick /safe why complicate your life.

    I have heard of a condo in pattaya taking a bar to court over excessive noise (causing condo rooms to be unsellable and unrentable) and winning the case. Not saying where it is as its ongoing.

    Most popular spots on the beach for thai people and many tourists are the natural beaches with trees and shade which are free to sit on. Beach ‘make overs’ only serve those with vested interests in making money from the construction !

    A few years ago i got the worst food poisoning from a kebab shop near walking st. I was out of it for a week on antibiotics…..never touched them since☹️
