I can only pass on what I know to the ignorant.
Not even I claim to know all just what folks in trade want me to know.

John is English. We consider it not on, to ask other folks about their money matters.
I only know what they have chosen to tell me.
I have no idea on my friends financial terms of service.
As I said, in conversations, both men are happy with what they get paid into their bank the following day and it has helped them and their staff through the lockdown.

I am on good terms with 2 different Restaurateurs.
One is signed exclusively to one delivery service and says he gets their cheapest rate .
My other friend is signed up to the 2 main ones and he pays their normal high rate.
Both are happy with their arrangements over the lockdown period which has kept them and their staff in business.
Both receive payments to their bank account the following day.

Just transferred one photo from my iPad Pro to my iMac, IMG_2708.HEIC no problem. Airdrop does not show when I open in Finder but as the HEIC shows it does transfer.
MacBook Pro still not playing.
I am now hoping that with the Lockdown easing I can get to visit my expert in his shop.
Thanks to all who have helped a thicky like me.

AirDrop: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204144
I use it often to transfer from my iPhone, iPad, or wife's computer to my iMac.As I mentioned the problem seems to be my Macbook Pro which will not recognize Airdrop. I am back in my base but with the lockdown I cannot go see my expert.
Thanks very much.

I am not a Structural Engineer.
As I understand Building matters in Thailand, the streanght of Thai houses is in the Pillars, the posts that are build and then the walls are just filled in.
I looked at building my own house on an occasion. A Draughtsman/Architect drew up the plans which where then approved by an engineer at the Ampure. I could have and did plan to move some of the walls but under no circumstances could I move the support Pillars/Posts without an engineer resubmitting the new plans to Amphure.

I went out for Sunday Lunch yesterday. I was not happy, no aircon in the heat of mid day and no ice cold beer that is a must to me with my lunch.
Restaurant tried but their hands are tied.

As a former CAA Licenced Engineer (UK) I will confirm the second post.
No aircraft is allowed to fly without an inspection to a laid down rule.
I think a big problem is if the pilots are still qualified.
Pilots must do a certain number of Flights, Take offs /Landings to remain qualified in a laid down time frame.

Try Dan SingKorn pass just past Prachuap Khiri Khan. Many places make all types of wooden furniture at very cheap prices.
I understand they will arrange delivery once again at very cheap price.

Years ago it was a joke on TV on the number of Frangs living in Lampang. Part of the joke was that there was a guy, Brit, who hung around waylaying fellow frangs just for a conversation.
I live in CM and have done so since 2001. I have been to Lampang once as opposed to passing through.
I had a meal with an old friend who asked me to take him to his dentist in Lampang and he treated me to lunch at The Riverside, western style meal and no complaints.

There are over 6, possibly as many as 12 Care homes in CM province.
If anyone wants to know use the search function and they will be found.
A 99 year old friend passed away in one 12 months ago, I visited him on a weekly basis for the 3 years he was resident.
I have no medical qualifications but can say that the care and attention he received was all one could hope for and a tribute to the Thai nursing staff.

never seen a thai care home ..in all my travels around the realm
Chiang Mai has half a dozen that I know of, Hua Hin also, usually located outside of town in rather nice location.
B40-50K per month and upward for some of the more high end locations.

"As for fake numbers you can hide how many infections there are but you cannot hide deaths. If it was that bad in Thailand we would know about it."
Yes I agree.
Neither I or any of my friends/acquaintances knows of anyone in Thailand who is now in hospital due to C 19.
Folk are catching it and dieing but just who these folk are, I or as I say no one I knows who they are.

I get the impression that care homes are much lesson common in Thailand. Even in richer Asian countries like Japan, it is the tradition for the very old to be taken care of in their family home.
Anybody know something about care homes in Thailand?I live in Chiang Mai. There are many care homes up here. Last year I had a friend pass away in one. I used to visit him once a week the care and attention he received from the staff was second to none.
I expect that a care home is where I will end up if I stay alive for another 10-15 years , hence my interest.

Masks help and that Thai people Wai so avoiding Physical contact.
Lack of testing must affect the figures.
Also strange that Care Homes have not been affected in the manner of Care Homes in UK/Europe.

The above shop was closed at 11.00 on Monday.
I tried 2 places where previously ladies worked with sewing machines by side of road and no one there. Then on way to buy food found a lady by side of road on Suthep who could carry out small job for me.

Yes at least I have tried to pass on practical information instead of sniping.
Ignorant means not knowing, unfortunate that you take a negative view.
Two different places with different approaches to the same problem and two happy owners who are still in business.
