I have both Wise and Revolut, both work seemlessly when spending abroad. Just did a Dubai/Bahrain trip and everything was tappy tappy on my Wise card. Wise is good for transfers if you need it to show as Intenational for Immigration purposes.

Why not get LED WiFi RGB bulbs, about Bht 100 on Lazada. Then control power, brightness and colour from your PC or phone.

Most çontrol circuits' run on DC, as in your telly, computer etc etc. The 'power'part is still AC as you say. I doubt whether the DC is çonverted back' to AC to run the compressor.
