Sad...horrible way to die...????

BBQ pork ribs with all the trimmings at my home in the country...everyone having a good time...lots of parades, American football, hunting and overeating...????

There must be some mistake.  I have been assured repeatedly that there are no scams or corruption in Thailand.  Only opportunists accepting donations...

Once one comes to terms with being a member of the easily exploited club, then it comes as no big surprise that one must purchase mandatory worthless insurance in order to remain in paradise...????

If Thailand is a<snip> hole as you say, introduce him to the nearest "bomb-site"...????

Who needs the Norwegians when the Indians are flocking to Thailand and spending on average 10,000 baht per day?

The people who own 7/11s must be getting rich!   ????  

Happiness is an attitude...a frame of mind...that you will persevere through the hard times as sunshine waits on the other side.

It helps to know when to cut your losses when factors beyond your control are causing you pain.

Choose to be happy...and so you will!   ????

I have been in many countries, done many things in my life, and when someplace or something was not working, I moved on to something else... 

Left Sat 1 week ago...40 degree nights, 70 degree days, some of the best Mexican food on the planet, liter of wonderful white zinfandel wine less than $3, sharpe cheddar cheese, college and pro football...Thanksgiving and holidays with the family...and No Frigging TM-30...????

Not ment to be a bash...just stating the obvious...

The 1st time he exposed himself...no one seemed interested!  So he went home and added an extension to see if he could now get the reaction he so desired!   ????

Use your hard earned investment money to purchase a one way ticket to a country that actually appreciates foreigners participation in the economy and rewards them accordingly.  ????

These people obtain more pleasure when they see an expat is upset or aggravated with them. If you smile and say: "It has been a pleasure!"  They become confused and disappointed...????

They fix my cars, mow my lawn, rake leaves and clean gutters for "free".  But it's still better than going back there.  All 6 own a car, and the two elder siblings have bought a house. 

 

They love to visit Thailand, a month at a time.   Only one has become a citizen so far, but two more will follow shortly.  The fee was about 24,000 Baht, but will go up soon.  Chump change.

Back on US soil as of last Sunday...feels good to be home again!
