Best option are?

Go to Youtube and search free swimming lessons.  If you do not have a pool, locate one near you...many hotels allow locals to use their pool for a nominal fee.

You have won half the battle...you desire to learn...

Get into the water...walk out to about chest high...lift your legs off the bottom and get into a "cannon-ball"...position...this exercise is to assure you that water is heavier than you and that you will float...if you just relax in the water...

Suntan lotion, ear spray to remove water that may have lodged in your ear...

Try dog paddle...or just kick your feet and use your hands and arms like oars to move you through the water.

Don't worry about speed...go slow...this is not the Olympics...????

Curious, we all wrestle with the question...should I go or should I stay...what was your tipping point after 20 years?...

My story with electric lawn mower...worked well a few months then died...had a hard time getting company to honor warranty...send off for repairs...many weeks later received repaired mower...after cutting 1/2 of small yard...dead again...back to repair shop...been weeks...still waiting...

Soon will be 1 year...warranty ends...fun begins...????

Call before using mail...maybe some new wrinkle to get you into office for a quick shakedown...take 1000 baht in small notes...if required to appear in person...

Case in point...GF took son to open bank account...Thai pic ID in hand...could not open...did not bring birth certificate...even though the birth certificate was needed to get the ID card and was firmly visible on the pic ID...

To me, that is an illogical request and exactly what I am referring to... 

Best to ask the school directly to clarify their visa procedure...

Just guessing...90 days...you present yourself as a stellar student...then a 1 year EDvisa...????
