Just received a leaflet yesterday that Maxnet also offer internet service without having to have a Phone line. They said only certain area's can have this option, Im in the soi Arunothai area. Interesting.

No it's not. U got 2mb/1mb and it's 1090 Baht/m + VAT. TT&T Maxnet premier.

Never had any probs,steady dl at approx.1700/kbps...24/7.

So, as I said earlier To the OP, Im on around 5MB for a thousand baht a month. Always really fast internet and never had any problems

TOT is government owned, TT&T is a private company. However, all TT&T's phone lines are from TOT..

TT&T (I have found) provide much better internet service, though.

Although it is not recommended, I bought my African Grey from Chatuchak and no problems at all. I think you would be better off buying from a farm or something though.

To the poster worried about dogs with birds, I have 5 cats, a dog, and my African grey. They all stay in the same part of the house and believe it or not, they are all best friends. They all stay in the same room, play together ect. Ive never had any problems with my cats/dogs with the parrot. Maybe its just my animals that are extra calm... Almost 2 years now of all playing together and no problems at all...

My mother had it done at BPH. Cost 61,000 baht. She only had problems seeing the computer and reading books ect. She is extremely disappointed with it and can't see much better than before. She has to use a magnifying glass to now read anything as she isn't allowed to use her reading glasses anymore.

After surgery, The doctor told us the surgery is best for people with long distance problems and that this isn't really the solution for people having trouble reading ect.

She's quite disappointed after spending 61,000 baht and its not much better than before surgery.

The downstairs food court prices are not that different than the Carrefour food court with some exceptions such as the Tammanthai stall which actually represents an upscale Thai restaurant upstairs. Try the Singapore fried rice noodles at the Hong Kong BBQ stall, very good. As far as prices, for example the khao mun gai stall (very good also) is priced standard. All in all, the basement food court at the mall is without a doubt the BEST FOOD COURT in Pattaya.

I've also tried the Singapore Fried noodles...

Aroy maak! Great for 55 baht also... They gave me so much that I could only eat about half of it! Very generous with the meat too!
