Perhaps not so silly, you don,t know what they,'re putting in it and could end up mullahering your engine,if you want to be on the safe side but the correct oil and genuine filter and just pay a garage to change it,make sure the engine is warmed up and stand and watch while they do it.
True. Thais are known for putting poor quality oil in if you are not watching. The monkey business knows no limits here. Happened to me once, after oil change the oil warning light would not go out. Looked at the oil, thin as water. Changed oil again at another gas station and watched them do it this time.... all ok.

There are fake copy filters around, I have seen them. Oil flow to your engine can be impaired by a bad filter.
In view of the above I buy my own oil in the original manufacturers pack and a genuine filter.

Oil change fee at B-Quik was 200 Bats. I buy my own oil and genuine filter elsewhere. Be aware that non-franchise places use non-genuine filters.
As for oil, Shell Synthetic or Mobil One Synthetic.

I have had T for years. Cause; -stress. Never found anything that works. Avoid Aspirin, -makes it worse. Paracetamol is a safe alternative. Gingko Biloba caused nose bleed, headache; -stopped due to presumed risk of internal hemorhage.
Odd thing is, if distracted you may not hear it.

In life, there is always a price to pay. In this case, one meal a day and no pu$$y.

I had a dream...
They should remove the sex bars from the Walking Street and create there a nice area with things like restaurants, small shops and sea view. The bars can be outside Pattaya where only people go that want to go there - there is no need for a beach location. They should move also all other red light areas from the city to this new location and create a paradise for people looking for something like this without disturbing others. Of course there needs to be good and cheap public transportation to this entertainment area. This bar chaos without zoning would come to an end and everyone could be happy.
How about right outside your house?

table tennis, yes !
Finally I can bring my table with me again.
Would not surprise me if some numb nut in Govt had measured the length of a table tennis table to be over the required social distance before allowing us to play. There is however, a problem with sharing ping pong balls, .... particularly for live shows.

Why not grant PR to all long term residents after 3 trouble-free years in the Kingdom on Married, Retd or work extns & include a 'no drink driving' clause to ensure compliance by those that routinely do it here (we all know them) but wouldn't usually dare at home?
Just my 2p ????
Great idea, but I bet they will be back to stupid 90 day reports and TM30 again once the pandemic is over. Is it too much to hope that the virus killed off the 90 day reports and TM30 forever? Will common sense prevail?

The British PM, even, nearly died,
A virus that attacks politicians can't be all bad can it?
And will someone puhleeeease explain to me why we cannot use the beach, so long as we maintain social distancing? Is there some weird Thai logic to this thought up by a committee? It hurts my brain.

Optimism to the extreme.
The world travellers are much better informed now.
Tourists denied entry at airports. Tourists interrogated at airport. Tourist put in airport jail. Dual pricing and much more. All this make international news, travellers are aware and more and more tourists choose alternative destination, where they feel welcome.
Other countries IO welcome tourists to their country, and tourist can often extend without problem. This Thailand should learn from. Put a end to 'You come to often to Thailand', and all other nonsense regulation they created last 10 years.
Immigration need a total overhaul.
Very well put post of the day. To which I would add there is no way they can guarantee safety. Thai BS.
If they enforce stupid visa regs and require health certificates and insurance, the tourists will go elsewhere.
We all know, they want our money but they don't want us. Farang cum Thailand too mut.

We have to stop the virus dead in its tracks at the first wave or lockdown will go on indefinitely.

why can't i go on a secret mission and just stay with a friend?
I guess said friend is female and NCC is going nuts having not been laid in weeks? Yes, you can go, so long as you observe the Govt prescribed social distance of 2 meters. How you make love while doing this is not my problem. (But then it is a secret mission so no one will know eh? ..... except every one of us on this Forum!)

Without knowing the product and size of the operation it is impossible for anybody here to evaluate the chances of success in the future
Roadrunner has owned four businesses and sees a disaster in the making.
What is she planning to grow on this land? Where are the costings and financial planning that should be done prior to starting any business?
Is it viable? Obviously not, as she ran out of money, plus being a Thai, she had no financial plan.
Time for you to leave Grasshopper.

I would suggest that whilst your rubber glove maker may have lots of orders now, this is temporary and will decline after Covid is gone.
Conversely, there is considerable pent up demand for rubbers of a different kind, that will explode exponentially once the bars reopen!

Thaivisa notes that Thailand has strict animal cruelty laws on its books.
Justice in Thailand? Laws, rarely enforced. Perhaps this time there will be justice as it was caught on CCTV and seen on social media. That will not bring the cat back though.

Not to worry? I am surprised the cat owner did not give the barbarian some of his own stick.

If it goes on too long, businesses will go bust. There could be rioting on the streets as the unemployed run out of money to buy food.
But, this being Thailand, the first thing to re-open will be a brown envelope.

Active case tracing is showing up more people who are infected but have no symptoms (or had not developed symptoms at the time of testing). This was reported in the press but also at a meeting my wife attended today in Nonthaburi (she works with the MoPH). So I think the 'lockdown' will contnue, especially in Bangkok, Nonthaburi, Puket, etc.
No one believes the Thai Govt figures. Your inside access to information is most useful to all here. Please keep posting any news.

Tinnitus, how do you deal with this?

None of the drugs helped me, and they do have other side effects! There are many causes of T, so what works for one person does not work for another.
The screaming varies, today it is almost silent, yesterday it was driving me insane. I never found out what causes it to vary. Anyone got any ideas?
