You may want to check if Cockpit fit copy parts. Only use genuine original parts for brakes. Copy parts can cause a variety of problems, such as scoring the discs if they are too abrasive (sintered pads), or lacking in stopping power. Conversely, overheating can occur if the pad is too soft. In answer to your original question, 2.5 ml is coming towards end of pad life. At zero ml the pad will cut into and ruin the disc (expensive). You will know it from the horrendous squeal it makes.

Update the bank book and get a letter from the bank stating you hold an account. You can then convert to Retirement at Chaengwattana. Most say Retiremment Visa is easier to obtain than Marriage Visa.

I entered Thailand before on 30 day Visa Exempt. No problem with the airline re lack of a return ticket, but on arrival Immigration asked for it. I told them obtaining a Visa in London was difficult and that I would convert to Retirement Visa at Chaengwattana. They let me in. It helps if there are previous Retirement Visas in your passport and you can prove you have 800K in the bank. All else depends on the whim of the Immigration officer. I have always found it helps if one does not look like a hippy.

Are you joking, or are you serious? Serious... I actually witnessed this! Don't know why the hospital simply did not provide a letter for immigration. They actually wheeled the patient into Immigration on a gurney attached to a drip. He neither looked too well nor too happy. Amazing Thailand!

At CW Immigration I once saw a farang arrive by ambulance. He was wheeled in to immigration on a hospital gurney, attached to an IV drip. At least this got him to the front of the queue!

T Cut is old style. There is a more advanced two in one product called Silicone Wax Rubbing Compound, as used by car body shops. Found in shops that supply automotive paints. Works wonders, cuts n polishes in one go.

Thai Embassy London has long had a poor reputation for service. As for Thai Gov't websites! Usually better to arrive in Thailand on the 30 day visa exempt and convert to the visa you want after arrival. Note that there must be at least 21 days still left on your visa when applying.
