  1. That XJ220 belongs in my hands. The bank robbery takes place soon.
  2. Looking at the comments.... what did I start here?! Roadrunner is ex uk car trade and so not worried about Jags being high maintenance. Yes a Toyota may be reliable, but who wants one? Driving a Japanese car is a bit like running my nails down a blackboard. Arrrggghhhh! Nothing has the feel, soul and character of a Jag. Let me enjoy before we are all forced to buy an electric car.
  3. Da Roadrunner is looking for a Jaguar XJC or XJR or XKR. Anyone want to sell please contact.
  4. There have been too many cases of the Thai lawyer taking his client's money and yet never checking the property's papers.
  5. What about Thai import tax? Did they ship by courier or post office? Courier into Thailand is known for getting hit by customs.
  6. Main problem here is that Turbo bearings are titanium. Ordinary steel won't last. And what type of bearing do the Thais fit?.......
  7. Thanks for all the response... This leaves us with the question.... is it safe to drink?
  8. Anyone know where I can buy raw unpasteurized goat or cows milk? Within reasonable distance of Bangkok. Need a couple of liters.
  9. Try a different land transport office.... they vary greatly. You can use any office for road tax. I have in the past changed ownership and road taxed a car with a colour change.
  10. Which is the most friendly and has the best service?
  11. Thanks Sheryl, She specialises in Thyroid Ultrasound and Osteoporosis. I have a Diabetic condition caused by Autoimmune. It also affects Pancreas and Thyroid. I thought the following were best? Though I would value your opinion. https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/doctors/Sarawut-Summachiwakij https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/doctors/Pauline-Limchaiyawat https://www.bumrungrad.com/en/doctors/Varaphon-Vongthavaravat
  12. Sorry.... Bangkok. .... Autoimmune affecting the Pancreas and Thyroid
  13. Looking for a knowledgeable Endocrinologist (Type 1 Diabetes) and a Rheumatologist (Autoimmune). As has been found before…. It is crucial to find the one who knows what he is doing! Thanks to all for assistance.
  14. The words "professional" and "body paint shop" don't often come together here! Let me know when you find one, I'm looking too. I am former uk motor trade and despair at what I see in Thai body shops. Anyone got a spray booth?..... I'll do it myself.
  15. Exactly where do you dispose of (fence) a defibrillator? Obviously the perpetrator was of a nationality known for their forethought.
  16. Not much point doing repairs here as within no time you will get another dent. Wait till someone crashes into you and claim it off their insurance.
  17. Cam chain. No problem so long as it's not noisy. Inside oil filler looks clean, probably had regular oil changes. No sign of white emulsion, which would indicate blown head gasket. So why the query?
  18. I have been there late in the evening when no one was at the desk
  19. In theory you can.... assuming there is someone manning the desk at the airport!
  20. This is how they force Thais to do one of the things they hate.... be responsible! Staff are told that if the till comes up short the missing amount comes out of their pay.
