For a month we heard nothing but bad news that tourism was down , Chinese were not coming , indians were going to save Thailand tourism , ministers were needing more time abroad , bars needed to stay open longer BUT as it turns out it was all fake news . The real news is not only tourism is doing well and up but even more than last year.
Yippi????????????????????????
Dude what is wrong? if you put half the effort in promoting you're broken "hotel" as you do trashing Thailand around the clock you may Even turn a profit ..

Your post still makes no sense.
If he left the money in the UK ( as you suggested ) it wouldn't have fallen off a cliff would it !
If he was drawing down an income to use in Thailand whilst LIVING in Thailand from a UK Bank
What don't you get? His income is getting smashed!!

Inflation is minimal in the UK so in domestic terms Sterling has not lost any value.
Sure but I replied to a post about leaving it in a Thai bank living in Thailand as an expat.
obviously a pound is a pound in the UK

Yes because it was much better leaving it in the UK and watch it fall off a cliff

Who mentioined teenagers? Night clubbers world wide are in the 20 to 40 year age bracket. Just take a look at pattaya..not many 18 year olds. We are talking nightly partying and not the occasional moon parties that dont have a closing time anyway

I use AIS playbox /internet/4g/ pacakage at 700bhat. The playbox is a streaming device so no "cable" and has a good selection of english channels including NETFLIX although a lot of it is premium channels which require extra payment

WUtter claptrap. Thailand's terrorism is entirely domestic. The bombs and murders in the southern three provinces are not carried out by a family of 4 from Dorset upset with the price of pad thai.
Thailand needs to monitor its own people first before it points accusing fingers at foreigners.
Try reading the article. Prayjth is concerned Thailand is a meeting place for terrorists to plan attacks ELSEWHERE
Its fact that the 911 terrorists Where in bangkok before flying to LA.
The concern is real

I'm sure it will only be a matter of time before they fine tune their visa process to do away with the requirement to leave every 90 days on a tourist visa.
Oh boy you really are dreaming. Just wait until Thailand's rejects start clogging up the hospitals with no money
VN will start to tighten visa restrictions , NOT loosen them !!!
