Retire in your own country where you know where you stand, know what's going on and have friends and family and familiarity all around, or go to some sweatbox and pretend you are happy.
So true and your dollar etc is actually still worth a dollar and your pension is not hitting new lows every month with no end in sight

No because its about the exchange rate. All of SEA has all the points you mention. You need to remove the blinkers and open your eyes .

- Dangers on the roads
- Scams every place you visit (even Thai people get scammed everywhere)
- Pollution of streets and beaches, etc......
- Over inflated prices and taxation products foreigners use
- Higher prices for foreigners for instance national parks
- Grudge against foreigners
- Political climate
- Justice only for the rich
I can list a lot more and I know that other countries will also have problems, but Thailand has reached the top now.
I feel sorry for all the expats because for them it's even worse because of the TM hassle.
I used to work in Bangkok for ten years and was a regular visitor in the last couple of years, now it's time to go visit other places until Thailand will make some drastic changes. But that won't happen.
It's the baht , its always always about the money. The rest is just noise
Yours points are affecting mostly expats. A grudge , political climate, justice for the rich? Seriusly what are you talking about, your averge 7 day tourists could care less

When everything is translated into the truth we are all left with one reality
Where ever you go there you are.
There are some deeply troubled souls here that hang on the belief that an air ticket to Vietnam will magically transform their lives. However the honeymoons are inevitably nearly always short lived

Their idiotic loss of face that takes priority over all decisions is keeping them a backward Nation and will prevent them from outsourcing the construction of a working app.

Tm6 took 2 mins to fill out without needing to leave your plane seat. The new app will not work and half the retirees I know struggle with the simplest tasks PC or smart phone related

Been either always married or always had a GF so since my recent split of 9 years I'm enjoying Lolita's. Once the deed is done I walk out to the pub next door for a beer without the girl getting upset or following me..:-)))
Try doing that to your tinder date
