TM47 is not every time, it is only when you do your 90 report. So if you travel 5 times you will not need to do a 90 day until you stop moving +90 days and at that time you have to report to immigration in person.
I have heard of people having that issue with TM30s but not with TM47. I have done 11 in a row including some international trips with no issues. Only this one time.
Well, when I get to be boss, I will institute the TM77. Which is a combination of a TM47 and a TM30 which will be done when you make a permanent move or long term extension. 😊
I have done many online 90 day reports online without issue. This last one was rejected with a statement that the first 90 report after a trip outside of Thailand requires an In Person Report. I'm not referring to the initial 1st report. Chon Buri Immigration.

Safety thing. My passbook routinely showed a balance of near 0 but I was not question about it. Being that it is a one time thing, it is safest to keep the money in your account until the new extension actually happens.
