  1. It happens all the time just
  2. The same with the cluster of what seems like 100 empty restaurants.
  3. Correct
  4. Can anyone enter into a Cambodian Makro and register or is it restricted?
  5. You aren't getting answers. Philippines definitely does not tax foreigners. I'm not sure about Cambodia but I doubt it, except for people working there.
  6. He simply asked a question. No tumor mongering at all.
  7. Then why have fancy jewelery
  8. In this case, nothing to do with TM30. Jomtien has a sign on the 90 day report desk that it is now mandatory to report in person after a return from abroad. They said, after I asked, that it was a new policy. Apparently, mail In also works. At immigration, I was in and out in 25 minutes at 8:30.
  9. I was able to google the tax treaty between the US and Thailand and download a lengthy document which clearly states the pensions and annuities can not be taxed in Thailand. I would think that the UK would have a similar document online.
  10. I know this is old but how does someone change to two addresses? I ask because I use a US address only. SSA is now implementing a new online access scheme where the last step is to send a letter to the address with a verification code to link.
  11. This happened to me recently. I was sitting. Someone rang the bell. I got up to leave but I was a few seconds delayed due to someone blocking. I started to step off the bus but the driver too off without warning. I fell but only got a scratch. The driver backed up but only to get his ฿ 10 fee
  12. Not illegal. The proposal died because of driver complaints.
  13. Jomtien Before I left the country, I spoke with 2 IOs about TM30s. There was no one there so they had time. They asked to see my passport and the stapled TM30. After checking my do documents they said no need for a new one after returning. Even after other interactions with immigration, I never had an issue. There was something about my passport or current 30 which indicated to them that in my case there was no need. My TM30 was only about 6 months old. But it is still a mystery as to what triggers a need for a new one.
  14. It is only 1 of the documents listed "a"
  15. 2 Vietnamese and 1 American, I thought there were 6 dead?
  16. I know many wealthy Vietnamese who were boat people and became successful. Also, at the ages given, they would more likely be children if boat people.
  17. Hit and miss. I have never been stopped for a few extra kilos. It seems that people with back packs get away with huge sizes.
  18. TM47 is not every time, it is only when you do your 90 report. So if you travel 5 times you will not need to do a 90 day until you stop moving +90 days and at that time you have to report to immigration in person.
  19. I just got this today from Chon Buri Immigration and was told it is new. I was in at 8:30 and out at 8:55.
  20. As this is a new rule, you may have just gotten in under the wire.
