I got my tank connected at the start of December 2020 and it filled by Australia Day (26 January) 2021. We are currently sitting just above 1/2 full, which amazes and disappoints me because I never thought we would get close to using 1/2 a tank 130k liters ! The humidity is at fever pitch and our first rains have fallen, 62mm in our first fall ! I’ve had the tank on bypass (wet system filling) since the end of April 21, I reconnected it last week, and we had 6mm which has filled the pipes and any further rain will start to fill the tank. Our top temp today was 38.7 Deg, can’t wait for it to rain… Our neighbor has just installed a solar pump to his bore. He can only pump at 0.2lt per second (as do I) due to the ground water being of low quantity in the immediate area.

We didn’t change her name when we registered our thai marriage in Thailand, we should have, we would like it. She later changed her thai ID to my/our surname but didn’t get time to change her passport before getting the go ahead to join me in Australia. All her Australian documents are based on her passport, thus all Australian bank acc, drivers license etc are in her maiden name… She can’t find, and her daughter in Thailand can’t find the document to change her passport, so until we can get back she’s running two names.

I’d be happy as Larry with 20lt/min Owl. My degraded bore in Darwin gives me 24lt/min for 3 min each hour… I tested yesterday, after 30 mins recharge I was able to pump for 7 mins before running dry, and we are 1/2 way through the Dry season. So far, so good.
