  1. There must be a Snake in the Grass
  2. It is also happening in Rawai, Phuket a good friend of ours who has her own salon told us about it, I think she getting pi$$ed off as she pays big rent and staff, and these Russians are working from home and as mobile hair and beauty treatments, It's not going down to well I have spoke with a few thais recently, the locals are not happy,
  3. They should start searching them better at the airport, asking why someone needs 3 laptops, also when they see a farang with a large amount of luggage, I think if you found a farang coming into the country with crypto mining rigs that would be a sure sign he intends to work,
  4. Some guys have got no shame,
  5. Intimate relationships between Lao citizens and foreigners who are not married are illegal. This includes sexual relationships and living together. Marriages between Lao citizens and foreigners must be pre-approved. If you don't register a relationship, authorities could fine or jail you.
  6. It used to be, if you had a Lao G/F you could not stay in the same room at a hotel, I remember years ago some farang getting hammered for it $6000
  7. Not only Dubai, many other places in the middle east,
  8. I remember him that was years ago,
  9. Probably not, where was she doing it? was it in salon? I have heard around where I live they are doing it from home
  10. One got arrested in London last week 10 year overstay
  11. Did you pay for it? No keep your nose out
  12. I was behind one late yesterday afternoon and my wife was saying thats disgusting cover yourself up woman
  13. Few of them down here in Phuket, what I didn't understand was I always thought getting an ED visa was to learn Thai, I met a Russian a while ago on an ED visa he was learning English,
  14. Not part of her job description on her work permit, Thats a job Thai's can do,
  15. I have to disagree with all of you, The local orbortor does a great job, down the beach there is plenty of bins when I go down to one of the beaches in the mornings there is a team of guys sweeping around, We go to Rawai for a coffee on the beach front, same there guys sweeping along the beach road, Where we live they come around in the night to empty the bins at least 3 time a week, You as a Farang cannot go cleaning it up you don't have a work permit,
  16. Technically they could get arrested for cleaning the beach, but thats a job Thai's wont do they are the ones that leave it there,
  17. I was talking to a guy the other day and he is leaving Thailand next week, he said he's had enough, he likes to come for extended holidays, they were staying in Surin and moved to Rawai, him and his wife don't like the area no more, He didn't actually say but I know where he is staying and it's full of Russians. Maybe this driving people away, the other week I know one farang moved off the island and another one I see down the beach in the mornings next month he is also moving to Khao Lak,
  18. I get the midget to drive everywhere these days
  19. Years ago they had some mad rule about farang dive instructors not being allowed to carry their own dive equipment to and from the boat, that was in Chalong pier,
  20. The question is, did he have a work permit?
  21. Maybe, but you are not allowed to clean your windows,
  22. Even though a person might have a work permit it will only cover specific jobs, strange but true
