We went in Amazon this morning I think the coffee is as good as anywhere, but their seating leaves a lot to be desired, maybe it's they dont want you sitting there too long, people camp out in Starbucks, I know my wife takes her laptop and does her accounts,

The increase in interest rates has gutted many AirBnB landlords to the point where they are undergoing the financial equivalent of a prolapsed rectum. I try not to derive satisfaction from the misfortune of others but am prepared to make an exemption in this case.
We are blocking AirBnB renters at reception when we can - they may have spent hours on a flight and be looking forward to their holiday but I have NO sympathy as it is impossible they don't know people don't want ST lets in a condo that is their home. they don't care, and guess what, neither do I.
A few of these guys with multiple units are going under I read about 2 today, one with 12 units the other one I think about 150 units, this is America,

Wow, the link is very informative. I wish Booking.com had that.I have to register and sign in to even access their help line ffs. Then they want a booking number...I'm not very optimistic.
I even logged into my account, they don't make it easy to contact them

FYI It's listed on Booking.com.I wonder if contacting them will bear any fruit?
I tried searching their site I cant see any links and their customer service is not very good, unlike Airbnb they give you a link to look at, https://www.airbnb.com/help/article/3290

You can use Airbnb and set the minimum stay to 30 days, and if you do MTR or LTR then the tenant pays all the bills but you have to state that in your listing details and make the tenant aware from the beginning, then add a security deposit normally 2 months upfront,

If you are thinking to buy a apartment it has to be something unique, too many of these condo's are just like boxes nothing to give you the WOW factor.
I have looked at a few units in Rawai, they do nothing for me,
Another thing to consider is the size of the unit guest on airbnb like some space,

We never do, we have to make up our own story,

a couple of thoughts
1. what is the punishment or what happens when you re stopped is there a breathalyzer asnd if you blow over what do the poice do ( I am not talking about brown envelopes)
2. To me it seems just as the people that lose theirl ives by living in dried river beds during monsoon season in India and Pakistan Songkran and NYE are Darwins way of controlling population and removing those of a lesser IQ. Drinking and driving, drinking and driving on a motorcycle and of course drinking and driving on a motorcycle at high speed with no helmet.
The only way people are going to learn is if there are paddy wagons at the check points and people are actually arrested and taken to jail. Let's face it taking away a licence is not going to stop people here anymore than it stops people in NA.
Drunks are going to drink and drunks if they have a vehicle are going to drive. The only deterrent is jail time and monitoring.
I can only speak for Phuket, people do get arrested and banged up, the police had quite a few check points around, Last year I know a guy (Thai) got stopped one night in Chalong he was over the limit he had a choice pay 40,000 baht at the roadside or go to jail and court in the morning, he said he will go to court in the morning, he got fined 5000 baht,

I have no bias for or against the Russians.
All I can say is that I enjoyed reading (thrice) the book by Boris Pasternak.
I also loved the performance of Rod Steiger and July Christie when he unexpectedly stuck his tongue down the mouth of Julie Chrisite.
Whenever I think of the Russians, these are just some of the thoughts I have.
I grew up on Russian Novels, as well.
I read them when I was in my early teens, but I did not read them in Russian.
I read the translations, unfortunately.
I would like to get to know the Russian better, while being here in Thailand.
I hope that I can.
But, I would prefer meeting mostly famous Russian authors, like the guy who wrote One Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich
You know the one:
Mostly, I always enjoy meeting those with a bit of education and intelligence.
It matters not to me where some guy is from, just as long as he is not stupid and boorish.
Speaking of tounging Julie Christie, I am not surprised that Steiger was happy to do so.
Here he is talking about his famous on-camera tounging of Christie in the Great film, From Russia with Love!
I love Russian Novels, for sure.
I cant say Ive read to many Russian novels but I did read that on back in the day The Gulag Archipelago and a couple of others,

I don't have a one Farang friend I don't need them and don't want one, I have a great wife and fairly big family and they are all good to me never has one asked for money, quite the opposite when they come to visit us here in Phuket they never come empty handed.

You can as a neighbour complain to Airbnb if that's where the guest are coming from,
I guess it would be difficult to knw which platform they used there is so many,
Did you take a look on Airbnb to see if units similar to your are listed?
