Have you seen the price of a bottle of wine in a 5 star hotel in Thailand? 

Me and the wife went out for a meal in Chalong, nice place right on the water, 180 baht for a bottle of chang, a little shop in my soi is 60 baht, maybe if they stopped that nonsense people would buy more, 

Thats good the landlord is doing it for your stop your moaning, while they are there get them to check the roof space, I never thought they eat plasterboard, but they do,

If they were drug dealers maybe the paid in cash and no trace, lets hope they got it from the ATM, 

We went out for dinner last night around 6 pm to the gypsy village in Rawai which is popular with tourist, the restaurant we were in was busy but mostly locals only a couple of farang's with their wifes like me, but the area was not busy I looked in other places, couple of people here and there, seemed people were just walking about, normally the place is rammed it was easy to park, It is not as busy this year,

I always make it clear that I am handing over a 1000 baht note to the cashier . 

I did that yesterday I normally have the correct money for what I want, I was home alone and only had 1000 baht notes normally I would ask the wife for change, when I went into bigc mini I said sorry I've got no change only a 1000 baht note, 140 baht was my bill as always, 

Unless he just collapsed he should have just got on that plane, 

These private hospitals in Thailand are ruthless, cant believe how many people come here without insurance, I saw this the other day on the Daily Mail and I made a post telling people never come to Thailand without insurance whether people take any notice of my post I dont know, 

I have had dengue twice and the first time they kept me in hospital for 5 days it was nowhere near that price but i wasnt in ICU, and that was in one of the private hospitals here in Phuket, 

And you lot always complaining about Russians, wait until you get a load of Saudis here, now their attitude to Thai's <deleted> stinks, 

A friend of mine landed in Phuket with Qatar he said it was full 

They have to load that lot on a truck, and nobody heard anything?

I don't think it's the rural poor driving all of those Mercs, BMWs and Audis. Repossession numbers are at record levels.

A friend of ours works for one of the biggest car finance companies here in Thailand and she says business is well down as they are declining so many applicants, and staff are being laid off, 

It's not busy like it was last year, most mornings I take a drive down to the beach and have a coffee somewhere, few people down the beach early but when you look at the car and bike rental shops full of bikes for rent, locals are saying it's not busy like last year.
